Go back to the middle of the room and take the purple teleporter down from Ebon Hold to the ground.

You should see Valanar's question mark straight away. Talk to him to complete the quest.

After you have completed this quest make sure to collect the 3 other quests around Death's Breach!

To get out of the starting area from the second lvl, talk to the bone griphon w/green to fly outside. It's on the balcony by the purple teleporter.
