This might be helpful to get more of the potential Time Rift rewards directly and save some of your Fiocchi Imprevedibili for other Time Rift vendor purchases. A potential source is checking back for a Daily Quest every day at the Everywhen Inn in Eon's Fringe. /way #2025 52.54 81.57 Everywhen Inn

These Daily Quests will reward 70x Fiocchi Imprevedibili, 30 Soridormi reputation, and sometimes 1x Destino Incapsulato (differs between characters).
(On Retail I haven't seen the mentioned differences between characters doing the Daily, maybe they changed Encapsulated Destiny to be a once-per-week guaranteed thing)

While they didn't work for my first Rifts on Patch Day (before emergency maintenance), they do now but also bug in a player-friendly way: Sometimes the buff won't be removed when a character completed a Time Rift, so you can carry it over to the next or even more attempts and benefit of the guaranteed rewards more than once.

As of 7-11-23 10.1.5 Patch Day I have used two of these and did not receive any rewards after defeating the boss.

1,000 Fiocchi Imprevedibili used for purchasing items from the vendors.
Soridormi Commendation - Increases reputation with Soridormi by 2,730.
Destino Incapsulato - Guaranteed that the next Time Rift you complete will grant you a reward.
You should use this item to guarantee yourself a reward before you kill the Stage 2 boss.
Destino Incapsulato Superiore (very rare) - Guarantees you an unobtained mount or battle pet from one of the invading realities.
Use it before you kill the Stage 2 boss.
Frammento dell'Emblema d'Ombrofuoco del Draco - Used for gear upgrading.
Capsula del Tempo Dilatato - Used to buy item level 402 catch-up gear.

I had two encapsulated destiny drop my first rift event. I used one the second rift and got a reward. The third rift I used my last one, I got nothing. However, as I sat there scratching my head wondering if there was too much lag as usually on a patch day. I looked up at the top of my screen and saw a debuff: Rift sickness! 10 min debuff and it says unable to receive any rewards during this time. I am guessing that is what happened to other players. What a waste if we can get a debuff during the rift and not get a drop.

Currently right now these are not stacking together when getting them from multiple sources such as the daily quests, rift unique quests and other alternatives to acquire these. Be careful regarding this when trying to stack and farm these up on alts due to this issue. I have done several unique rift turn in quests and was unable to get the encapsulated destiny to go into my bag/ not even showing up being awarded from these quests. I did submit a bug report/feed back but not sure how this will work out and how long to fix.

I used this today, did multiple rifts and I always got something from the boss. So far today I got 3-4 different transmogs, and a battle pet. It doesn't wear off after the rift is done either, but it doesn't say anything about duration. Perhaps it lasts for one day? Anyway, this could be a sign that this has been hotfixed.

UPDATE July 16, 13:15: ok, so it stayed on for a couple of days, the loot kept pouring in, transmogs, mounts and pets. But eventually it wore off. And when I rebuffed, it wore off after the first completion. It was most likely a fortunate bug then. Lucky me, got a lot out of it.

These can drop from certain Eon Fringe Dailies did one yesterday and it rewarded one for defeating the 3 gladiators and today for finding the 3 vikings in Valdrakkan it does not give one.

The first Eon's Fringe Daily completed per week per character awards an Encapsulated Destiny. Further dailies will not award the item (until the normal weekly lockout reset on Tuesday for US, Wednesday on EU). Therefore, optimized collection game play is to complete an Eon's Fringe daily only once a week on alts, prior to doing one weekly Time Rift, for the guaranteed loot.

first time rift i got one and thought oh this is awesome, used it and ive done maybe 6-7 more rifts all killing the boss, getting a item every time and it still hasn't worn off. i even have another in my backpack. bugged maybe?

Beware, if you have the buff already and use one of these, it is consumed and lose it. I just wasted one by accident.

I just got the Murloc pet, Gill'dan from Varian Wrynn boss at the end of a time rift using this. I wonder if mounts are a possibility as well?

So I've been using this, the buff seemingly last forever.
And the boss drops something each Rift.
I've been farming for 2-3 days now, close to 40 Rifts.

But now, my last Rifts, the boss didn't reward me an item. Instead I got a 150 Flakes and 250 Rep.

Edit: Update. My first use of this item (I initially had 3 of them), lasted for around 3 full days, I used and wasted a second one because I was curious what would happen.
The "second" one, wore of some day later. Someone in game said they last 24 hours, which could've been correct for my second one.
However, my third and last one expired after approximately 13 hours.

I got one from the loot container item rewarded from "When Time Needs Mending" weekly quest, completed by completing a Time Rift event. I used it on my character (an alt; I didn't realize the weekly was account-wide or I'd have done it on main).

That was the 10.1.7 reset day. It is now post-reset the week after 10.1.7 dropped, and my alt (an Orc Warlock) *STILL HAS THE BUFF*. I only logged him in the entire week to do Time Rifts the entire week, which take around 15min. At no point did the buff get consumed, even when I got loot - which I got every rift for the entire week on that character, mind you - so I'm wondering if perhaps this is bugged.

UPDATE: This week I received two of these on my main; one from a time rift reward box (Box of Volatile Reality, but I suspect any of the three boxes from a rift could contain one) and one from the reward box for the weekly "When Time Needs Mending". I consumed one, kept the second. *My Warlock alt from the previous week still has the buff from last week.* I will update this post when I have completed a Time Rift on the alt to see if the buff persists.

UPDATE: My alt's buff also stayed after a time rift (which also gave me loot, of course), so his buff has lasted through 7 days straight. Not sure what to make of it.

I have used three of them today and haven't got any reward in any of those three time rifts.
Also it seems that they don't stack. If you use second one while you have the buff already, you just lost one.

I was curious what this buff would "guarantee" once you bought all items on a faction (Horde in my case). I ran 3 characters with the buff once I had all vendor items.

-First character got nothing.
-Second character got nothing.
-Third character got the White Wolf mount item that I was able to target an alliance player, use the item, and make that alliance player learn the mount. That was cool, but I only hope the alliance druid I clicked realizes they got the mount!
-Edit: Fourth character also got the "Gift of the White War Wolf" that can make an alliance player learn.

I was kinda hoping that once everything cosmetic was earned, it would guarantee the catchup gear for my alt, or maybe extra rep token, but good to know either way.

This has been fixed, so whenever you use it is only a 1 time use, and it won't stack.

So be carefull when using it :D

This crap is so broken it's not even funny. I've had 4 different chars that activated it when the event started, went in the rift, killed the boss and got absolutely nothing. What garbage and a waste of time.

What gear/items does this 'guarantee' ? do i have a chance of getting the Dilated Time Capsule? The only thing ive been able to loot thus far are random Transmog items that i dont really have a use for and im unsure if they are already a guaranteed item from just doing the Rift Boss as is, so im kind of lost on what the point is if you cant get he Time Capsule /shrug - bit of a meh catch up system imo

You CANNOT get duplicate cosmetic rewards via Time Rifts, which is a really nice (unintended?) feature. I've been running these events non-stop on three accounts for the last few days and not once did I get anything that I hadn't purchased. Using this item is no exception.

If you die during the boss fight with this buff, the buff deletes itself and you get bupkis.... =/

If you have all the rewards from a given rift, it seems like it will choose one from another rift that you are missing. I received the gold-toed albatross after defeating Gill'dan in Azmerloth since I already had the pet from that rift.

If you have everything cosmetic and all the mounts/pets from the Time Rift vendors, this item does not guarantee you will get a gear token or any gear or trinkets from the Rift bosses, you will just get nothing and the buff will disappear. This has happened to me probably more than 5 times now. It seems almost more likely that you will get gear or a gear token while *not* having the buff from this item. I don't know if that's intended, but it sucks! It would be nice to be guaranteed a piece of gear/one gear token/a trinket from this, since otherwise they are useless once you have all the cosmetic stuff from the vendors.

If you want to deplete surplus Destino Incapsulatos quickly, speak to Soridormi in the last few minutess of "reporting-in" countdown. This way, you can fight the final boss and get a reward without spending all 8 minutes in the Fenditura del Tempo event.

The "reporting-in" countdown ends roughly at the 8th minute of every hour. Go to her no later than the 6th minute (because the boss can be killed quickly if there is DPS).

Still broken. Opened a ticket for it, got a response from a GM that basically says yep, see you didn't get anything from it. WEll, nothing I can do, hope I provided some clarification, make sure to submit this to the bug team. I can think of at least 2 ways to actually provide assistance while they work onthe bug that has existed for ~checks notes~ 7 months now? Not great guys, not great...

A few months only to War Within and this is still broken. I did three separate runs and got nothing from using it.
