I just got this killing the world boss in Drustvar. I believe it is the Ancient Blood Pigment you need to in order to craft the Sanguine Feather Quill of Lana'thel. As the tool tip suggests, I have to wait a day.

Seriously Blizzard? Not only do you make us jump though these hoops (Miasma Coagulato doesn't drop in LFD groups, but only running a current dungeon solo - didn't even drop when I only had one other person with me) and the Antico Pigmento di Sangue is on a "weekly" cycle (if you kill the WQ Boss before getting the recipe to make the quill you have to wait until weekly reset) but also you have to wait a day for it to "thaw"? Really Blizzard?

What is it with your dev team and professions? Why do they have such disrespect for them? In most cases, they're useless. The recipes and mats you need to make profession gear is gated behind dungeon runs. Runs that you need better gear than what you can make in order to run the dungeons.

Professions used to be fun and profitable. But WoD the recipes became tied to dungeon runs. Legions and BfA included the mats in dungeon runs so, instead of running a dungeon once to get the recipe, now we have to continually run the same dungeon over and over just to make gear that is lower quality than the gear dropped from the bosses. This has made professions less fun, and zero profitable. Blizzard, if you have such little regard for professions, why not just eliminate them all together from the game? That's where you're heading, isn't it? Making them harder to do, less fun, unprofitable, who's going to keep doing them? Completionists, no one else.
