Brace Superiore di Fyr'alath is a guaranteed drop* for Cavaliere della Morte, Paladino, and Guerriero from Fyrakk on Amirdrassil on any difficulty. It can only be obtained once per week per difficulty, this includes lower difficulties if done first on higher ones. You can loot them on any spec for the three classes.

When used it increases your chances to obtain the legendary quest starter for Fyr'alath, la Squarciasogni from Fyrakk on your next kill*.

You obtain this item if you were not lucky enough to get Fyr'alath, la Squarciasogni. Use this item before the next week to ensure you get an increased chance on your next kill.

You cannot be saved to have a chance at Fyr'alath, la Squarciasogni, this includes if you killed Fyrakk that week on a higher difficulty.

This item, Brace Superiore di Fyr'alath, and Brace Inferiore di Fyr'alath are bad luck protection for characters able to equip Fyr'alath, la Squarciasogni.
Might as well consume them as soon as you receive them!

Got 2 on my DK. One from NM and one from HC.
At this point I am not sure if the item from NM only increases the chance of the legy dropping on NM and vice versa for HC.

Does anyone have an update on whether these actually do anything or not? When you run the command Wowhead recommended it still says "0" after I used mine.

Really want to see confirmation what it does, how much extra % / chance are you getting and are they stacking up every week on reset. The only real confirmation from Blizz is that you have a higher chance the higher the difficulty of the raid has been set, so LFR is the lowest chance to obtain Fyr'alath the Dreamrender9

I have obtained 2 this week. One from normal Fyrakk kill and one from Heroic Fyrakk kill. I used to believe that you can get just one but i did not see any blue post saying that so i did one for the science!

Not sure if it's intended or not but as i mentioned i did not see any blue posts about the "1 per week" statement.

Note: I did the normal kill first and the HC one after (maybe the order has something to do with this).

Did some talking with a friend and we have a theory:
If normal Greater gives you x and HC Greater gives you x + 0.5 then maybe when i did Normal i only got x and on HC i got the 0.5.

Therefor maybe the value of the Greater Ember is variable in function of what Fyrakk kills you've already done during the week.

Heroic ember also had "Heroic" prefix in title, when normal version had no prefix.
Mythic must have the same one

Greater embers are NOT a guaranteed drop . I made a ticket querying the drop and recieved this reply 'After taking a look regarding this matter, kindly note that Greater ember of Fyralath is not guaranteed drop. In this case better luck next time :).'

You are supposed to get this item once per week ~~from each difficulty~~.
~~Unlike what many are posting they do not work for every difficulty~~.
~~They even have a prefix for what difficulty they work for~~.
Normal does not currently have a prefix, because it is normal, in Blizzard terminology that is standard, the one you should be doing at the start of raiding.
LFR or baby mode has the prefix LFR.
Normal currently has no prefix but will probably be fixed soon to include it due to confusion.
Heroic drop has a Heroic prefix.
Mythic has the Mythic prefix.
Once you use one it permanently increases your chances and will do shadowflame damage to you to indicate that the item did something.
Mine did 105k damage to me, for example.
~~The buff does stack, but only for the specific difficulty that the item dropped from~~.

You should also use these immediately, as they are buggy, killing Fyrakk while still having one of these in your bags can sometimes prevent you from receiving another one.

When I made this comment it was correct, as I was getting one from every difficulty.
It seems hotfixes have been made.
As of today, I did Heroic first and only got the Heroic version.
It seems since there were originally supposed to be multiple item levels of the weapon based off of difficulty, but since no other legendary has been that way before they nixed that idea but still left their system in place.
They have apparently changed it since there is only 1 version of the legendary that all versions count toward the weekly but at different rates based off of difficulty.

So far im at greater x9 and lesser x5...... still no drop

update 12/27/23
up to 10 greater and 5 lesser. full cleared heroic and got one greater from fyrakk
then killed him on normal this week and he didnt drop one at all for me? this is the first time this has happened idk if i should open a ticket or not

I just want to be able to delete this thing - I don't need my alts to get a higher chance of getting Fyr'alath, especially since one of my alts probably will get it before my main since that's how these things always goes

Done this on LFR dificulty and this item drops, do i use it so next week after reset the chance are higher? or you have to use it same week and go for normal or hc kill?
just dont want to get it wasted

According to GM, Brace Superiore di Fyr'alath is not Guaranteed drop from the last boss Fyrakk.

So, after yesterdays server drama on EU.
I managed to kill Fyrakk for the 6th time (i think) on HC.

I did not recieve my Brace Superiore di Fyr'alath and contacted support.
GM told me this was not a 100% Guaranteed drop.

I looted 4 of these off of the 7 bosses I downed in Heroic this week. Used them all, went into a Fyrakk Normal pug and downed him to get a 5th ember. :(

Does anyone know if these stack overtime or a 1 time use chance?

Any comments here about it not guaranteed is most likely trolling or lying. I have One of Each plate class and each week I get one. I only want to know How many of these embers we will need to get a legitimate chance before the end of this expansion which I think is around 7-9 months before pre patch. so that is not a lot of time if you only do LFR and are not skilled or rich enough to buy mythic kills of the last boss only per week like a lot of players.

So basically My odds on 3 toons are slim to nothing unless they buff it right before the end of the expansion which I doubt. Blizzard do not have a great track record as of late well ever tbh they make Items suchas Blue items off rarespawns have next to no drop rate I have farmed so many Rares In shadowlands for there Blue specific drop case in point Sister Chalerice or however its spelled the Spider rare in Maldraxxus. It is an Intel Based 1h Sword I kill it on every class who is Intel and can use a swors Mainly my 70 Paladin who is that Covenant yet 300+ kills on that rare Nothing just pet after pet and useless anima. Also the Cosmetic item blues from a bunch Of BFA Assaults don't drop either. I a m missing about 75% of them and yet again Blizzard made them rarer than anything in the game that is farmable and for what reason. They are just cosmetics even when BFA was current they were nigh impossible compound that with scaling which might effect drop rates then you are just wasting your time every week.

I feel Like I am wasting my time with the Legendary Axe also just hope RNG Lands on my Main not my others which are not really keen on getting unless I get it 3 times which is probabbly impossible even 10 years from now when I am soloing it on LFR

14hc kills and a bunch of lessers from mythic raids, no luck and more than half the season is gone. Congratulations blizzard on the dumbest f******* aquisition method ever designed.

after doing heroic, where i got 4 lesser and 2 greater,
i then did LFR and Normal and got zero of these.

did i have bad Loogie luck or is this normal?

season 4 just launched 2 days ago. i did lfr fyrakk on my paladin and this essence did not drop. prior to this season, it was 100% drop from fyrakk even on lfr. i am not sure if this was a bug, or if it's intended. thank you,

Ran Awakened Heroic last night got a Greater Ember of Fyr'alath. Then afterwards a few of us ran LFR and we did not receive one. We did normal the following day and also did not receive one.

In previous weeks 1 and 2. We were able to get one from every kill we attempted.
