The recipe for the Sparkling Spice Pouch costs artisan's mettle. You cannot even get artisan's mettle without trade skills (crafting or gathering). Cooking and fishing do not get you artisan's mettle. My no skills, only cooking character cannot get the recipe. And this cannot be put in a work order to craft. So not only must you have 50 cooking, you must also have a trade skill of some sort to get the currency.

So because this dropped on an alt on a server where I have 1 character who never leveled cooking I just can't even use this, because of not being able to do a work order for it. Just when you think crafting in DF can't possibly get more dog shiet than it already is something like this happens.
