Elemental lords appear on the maps with Primal Elements, to check it just open the maps and search for the storm symbol,
the Elemental Lords spawn on the skull symbol. The Spawn Time is around 30 minutes.

You can get Confluenza Elementale Instabile after combinate the 4 items from Elemental Lords:

Signore della Tempesta Sfrenato spawn in Northern Barrens, Kalimdor. Can drop Tempesta Primeva Offuscata.
Signore della Terra Roboante spawn in Un'Goro Crater, Kalimdor. Can drop: Terra Primeva Offuscata
Signore del Ghiaccio Glaciale spawn in Badlands, Eastern Kingdoms. Can drop Acqua Primeva Offuscata.
Signore del Fuoco Furente spawn in Tirisfal Glades, Eastern Kingdoms. Can drop Fuoco Primevo Offuscato. Don't forget to change the time zone at /way 69.5 62.7

After defeat all 4 you'll receive Contro gli elementi.

Dimmed Primeval Storm: Spawn locations for elementals in the NORTHERN BARRENS will show shards, on the map of Kalimdor, in these locations:
The Unbridled Storm Lord should show up as a skull on the map when it spawns.

Dimmed Primeval Earth: Spawn locations for elementals in the UN'GORO CRATER will show shards, on the map of Kalimdor, in these locations:
The Rumbling Earth Lord should show up as a skull on the map when it spawns.

These are tradeable to others who participated in the kill of the elemental lord. They do NOT need to be in your group. I received one from someone on my server cluster and NOT in my group.

Edit: I have now also received one from someone NOT on my server cluster also, but we participated in the same kill and were in NOT in the same group.

Edit 2: I have now also traded 2 earth ones and one fire to others on one of my alts that I was leveling.

Edit 3: I have been farming the water one on an alt leveling it, I traded 4 away to others. There was one person i was unable to trade it to, they were a new Evoker that was less that 24 hours old.

Storyline La Spedizione delle Scaglie di Drago + Extra Quests:

1. Le Isole dei Draghi attendono - start automaticly when login You need to go to Stormwind and speak with Irathion 79.9 27.2
2. Un invito in-Aspettato - speak with Irathion conversation will start.
3a. Coordinamento della spedizione - Speak with 3 NPC: Thaelin Forgiacupa 64 37.4, Catalogatore Wulferd 63.2 70.1 and Ricognitore Jeb 38.2 45.2
3b. I Custodi d'Ossidiana - speak with Dervishian 51.1 67.5 on top of tower
5. Sussurri nei venti - Speak with Arcimago Khadgar He will come from teleport, Video will start.
6. A caccia di tempeste - Start from Toddy Baffetta 22.9 55.5 Speak with William Cacciatore delle Tempeste 25 53.2
For Storyline probably the rest of the quests next week. But after 6 quests You can do extra quests:
- Retaggio di Tyr: Segreti del passato - Do dungeon Uldaman located in 41.4 9.9, best way is to go LFG dungeons. Dont forget to put dungeon on normal dif.
- A Primal Threat - Kill mobs at Primal Elements and pick up from them 10 Granulo di Energia Primordiale Reward is Prole Tempestosa Primordiale.
After finishing quest 6 You will be able to buy items from William Cacciatore delle Tempeste. All items 252ilvl + Borsa di Venti Furiosi and Borsa dei Reagenti Sferzata dalla Tempesta, to Buy all item you need Essenza Primeva you can get them from killing mobs at Primal Elements.

Achievement Contro gli elementi and how to get Confluenza Elementale Instabile Guide:

First think about Primal Elements. You have 4 elements bosses and they are spawn only in 3 location:
/way Badlands 32.9 42.1
/way Un'Goro Crater 48.4 27.8
/way Northern Barrens 35.2 40.4

Elements are spawn every 3 hours and is random elemental on each location ( can be 3 x ice or 1xfire 1xice 1x wind ).

To get Achi done You just need to kill all 4 bosses but to get Confluenza Elementale Instabile You need to get drop from them but is not 100% drop rate.
Elemental bosses and drop:
- Signore della Tempesta Sfrenato drop Tempesta Primeva Offuscata i got it after 2nd kill :D,
- Signore della Terra Roboante drop Terra Primeva Offuscata i got it after 11 kills xD
- Signore del Ghiaccio Glaciale drop Acqua Primeva Offuscata i got it after first kill :D
- Signore del Fuoco Furente drop Fuoco Primevo Offuscato i got it after 2nd kill :D.

Now most important for drop, to get it easy use LFG ! in this way i get all Dimmed Primeval very fast. Only You need to be lucky with elemental spawn.

Must have been a problem with these the first day the patch was alive, I didn't get any of them. But on the second day they started dropping.

I am pretty sure you need to turn in the quest item from "Sigil of Storms" to start getting them to drop. This was my case.

Where am I supposed to find this? I've not see the Storm Lord appear at all on several toons. Am I missing something? I've collected Water, Fire, and Earth. Just need the Dimmed Primeval Storm for the heirloom. Any help is much appreciated.

Now that the Dragonflight Opening Pre-Expansion Event is over --> you can SAFELY throw these away if you still have any in your Bank or Bags!

Can also confirm this is available after the pre-patch event during Elemental Storms in The Dragon Isles. Just had one drop from a rare in an elemental storm in Tyrhold.

If you were missing some of the primeval elements and chose to hang on to them, then good news! You've got a chance to finish that heirloom trinket! They've been dropping from the elemental storm events (I'm just not sure which mobs in particular). I've collected water, fire and storm over the past two weeks.

Elemental THUNDERSTORM. Chill in the area and hope the rare elites spawn, one of them will drop it eventually.

ive literally got 2 fire 1 of the others but can never get this one.

Took a very long time for this one to drop for me. The others dropped very quickly. But it does exist, do not give up. Mine dropped from Karantun in the Elemental Thunderstorm. Best luck for farming these is to join a custom raid farming elemental overflow and then farm the rares.

I can confirm that it drops from Gaelzion.

1. The storm you're looking for should be AIR and not Earth/Fire/Water.
2. Drop rate is approximately 9% as it says.
3. Most importantly, the item is tradeable between all players that have assisted killing the monster, regardless if you were in party or not, or in the same realm or not.
