Just got this off Bisquius, the rare that can spawn from getting Community Feast to Legendary. It was a Legendary (2), no idea if that matters.

Just dropped this from a mob called Attentive Guardian, as this mob isn't in the wowhead DB, i'm guessing it is just a version of the Uncontrolled Guardian, they are around the Azure Vault entrance.

/ways are maybe not the best places to farm for these but these are what I gathered from other WoWhead comments and drop rates.

Please note that I am not 100% sure as for the IDs of what can be looted in Disturbed Dirts and Expedition Scouts, though as they are lootable through the same method it shouldn't be a problem. Do no hesitate to reply if you looted one or the other and the IDs are wrong so I can modify it. :)

Don't bother with Scaldatore delle Sorgenti or Bollifiamme, I killed around 100-200 of them in hopes of this item dropping, but all I got was junk. Not just no globule, not even rousing fire, which the same mobs are supposed to be dropping.
On the other hand a single Siege of Dragonbane Keep was enough to get the item, something in the middle of the camp dropped it. So try clearing a siege every week, tagging all stuff in the middle, and with a little luck you get this item for the week.

Today, I have looted a stack of 2 of them from fire elementals in the emerald dream. This is pretty surprising since it should be impossible to get more than one per week. There are, in my opinion, 3 possible reasons, of which 2 would mean that this can be replicated to farm more knowledge points per week.

1. This has been changed and can be farmed more than once per week. In this case, you could kill more fire elementals to skill your professions faster. I believe this to be quite improbable.

2. The weekly cap is only activated once you actually loot this item, so if you kill several elementals but do not loot them, each elemental that was randomly chosen from the game to drop it, will actually drop it. In this case, this could be replicated by killing as many as possible of them in one spot and only loot once you have a lot of their corpses in this spot.

3. The weekly cap is activated when the item is dropped, not when looted, but can drop from 2 NPCs if they are killed at exactly the same time. In this case, this is gonna be very hard to replicate and effectively use.
