If you are a leatherworker, only craft one Cappello dello Scuoiatore, and Camice Resiliente for your own use.

The Leatherworking Journal isn't represented as a book -- the icon is a knife cutting a square of leather. Clicking on an accessory or tool will make ot Soulbound and it will automatically be moved from Inventory to your Journal
If you craft a second accessory, you'll find you can't equip it on your character pane and you'll have wasted materials.
While you're skinning or doing leatherworking, your character will automatically be shown wearing the special gear and using the tools.
If you are a leatherworker, you can Recraft profession accessories to raise the ilevel of a piece. It may be useful to Recraft green quality accessories if it will be a while before you'll reach the level of Reknown required to buy a blue pattern.

Cappello dello Scuoiatore	Skinning accessory created by Leatherworker	The upgrade is Cappello dello Scuoiatore Esperto from Modello: Cappello dello Scuoiatore Esperto. The pattern is sold by Rokkutuk (Coords 13.8, 50.0) and Murik (Coords 13.2, 49.2) in the Iskaara Fishing Village in The Azure Span. Murik stands in front of the dwelling with giant curved horns. Requires Dragonflight Leatherworking 50 plus Iskaara Tuskaar Renown 18. Murik stands in front of the dwelling with giant curved horns. If you want a transmog look for the cap, check "head" pieces in your transmog inventory at the Transmogrifier.
Zaino Durevole	Skinning accessory created by Leatherworker	The upgrade is Zaino Rinforzato from Modello: Zaino Rinforzato. The pattern is sold by Quartiermastro Huseng in Maruuk in the first floor of the large round building on a hill at the Ohn'ahran Plains (Coords 60.4, 37.60). Requires level 18 Reknown with the Maruuk Centaur.
Coltello da Scuoiatura di Draconium	Skinning tool created by Blacksmith	The upgrade is Coltello da Scuoiatura di Khaz'gorite. Buy from Auction House or Blacksmith.

Some green items may be a drop or quest reward.

You are supposed to have the option to limit the display of Leatherworking and Skinning accessories - so that they are displayed only when you craft or skin.

The Guide All Profession Tools and Accessories in Dragonflight says:

The great thing about Profession Accessories is that you'll automatically use them when you do your profession (your appearance will even change) but they will not actually replace your head armor, cloak, and/or weapon. The appearance may linger after you're done, but it will change when you enter combat.

If you prefer to have your profession accessories and tool not appear as often while you're not , visit Mahra Piegalberi in the Ruby Life Pools, /way 61, 70, to set your preferences for your display. Just ask her about Profession tools, and you will get the following dialogue:

Limit how much I see my crafting equipment. Hide my accessories and only show my tool when crafting.
Limit how much I see my gathering equipment. Hide my accessories and only show my tool when gathering.
I want to see my fishing pole. Show it when I fish and leave it on afterwards

Despite this, there are many comments saying that a "Hide" request doesn't crafting,/gathering gear. See comments for Cappello dello Scuoiatore, for example.

Recrafting

Acquire better quality materials.
Click on the Leatherworking icon to open the Leatherworking Journal.
Click on Recraft - this is the first listing in the pattern menu.
Click on the green cross to see eligible items and pick an item.
Select one of the raw materials and click on it. This opens a row with three icons, with quality ranging from one star to three stars.
Pick the quality of material you will be using. Start clicking on the counter to increase the number of raw material units. The number required will be shown to the left of the row.
More advanced patterns will allow you to add extra enhancements.
Click Accept the quality and amount of each raw material you are improving, then Recraft. You'll see a blue progress bar.
If the original item was in a slot in your profession Journal, you'll notice its ilevel and quality have increased.
