Finally found a good path for daily skinning kills. I do this on my 4 alt skinners in ZM gear (maybe 240 ilevel if lucky) and levels 60-66. Dk, Monk and 2 hunters
Seem to always be up or very fast respawn time. Not big on farming but always up rares make it quick and sort of painless, the turtle hits pretty hard on the monk.

Henlare 55,77 Thaldraszus drops 3 dense hide and 3 windsong plumage on first kill daily
Sunscale Behemoth 62,48 Ohn'arahn plains drops 3 lustrous scale hide on first kill daily
Skaraa 45,49 Ohn'arahn plains drops 3 dense hide and 3 rockfang leather on first kill daily
Territorial Coastling 22,66 Ohn'arahn plains drops 3 lustrous scale hide and 3 salamanther scales on first kill daily

This chart doesn't include the Pinehoof Stag in the plains, but the dense hide does drop from them.

ok thanks for the idea on farming 4 rares.
As for the 2 recommended spots... I'm at 0/20 followed by 0/41 on the Barbed Bakar. It was given for 1/7 drop rate.
As for the Grazing Bruffalon it's even worse.
I give up.

UPDATED: If you're farming Pelle Densa and Pelle di Scaglie Lucide I have a few places to try. ~~Updating as I find more.~~ IT WOULD APPEAR THAT ANY RARE OR RARE+ MOB THAT CAN BE SKINNED WILL EITHER DROP HIDES OR SCALES ONCE PER DAY. These are my approx. drop rates. Spawn rates vary.

Nokhudon Hold Rares: These were worth the hassle.
Beccosanguigno il Vorace - x5 Pelle Densa
Groffnar - x6 Pelle Densa

Brackenhide Rares:
Pustomanto - x5 Pelle Densa

Grand Hunt Rares: Easy to complete but drop rate seems lower.
