based on comparing all of the comments below, it seems the gold/rewards from this cache were severely nerfed between ptr and live release. use high discretion when choosing to purchase it. maybe one of the unknown schematics is from it though? probably not but who knows. buy it at your own risk.

I have now purchased 7 Olea Cache's and out of 7; 4 of them had nothing but silver and an unsubstantial amount of Genesis Mote's.
HOWEVER! There is hope.. the other 3 Caches each had one Progenitor Essentia as well as Halo-Stave of the Oracles in 2 of the bags, and a Mace of Renewed Purpose in the third.
Note that all of these bags were looted on my Ret Paladin, so the weapons are not class/spec specific drops.

These boxes are currently worthless, you might want to hold onto your excess cyphers until it's fixed.

Seems to be for 700 Cyphers, you get 20s to 1g and 10-30 Genesis Motes. Have a chance for Progenitor Essentia & a couple cosmetic pieces.

Progenitor Essentia is the most valuable part so if you get 700 Cyphers easily and don't need anything else with it, it's a sink option

**Edit 4/23** Looks to be buffed at some point after this post, now gives 300+ gold in addition to glimmers & other mount needed mats for the Protoform Synthesis

On live, Scrigno degli Olea is sold by Olea Manu at Exile's Hollow (you need to research Comprensione dell'Altoniano and finish the quest line starting with Cerchia spezzata to see this vendor there).

The cache is sold for 700xCodici dei Primi. This should be the cypher dump if you have nothing else left to spend them on.
What you get for it depends on luck.

My own yields so far:

2022-03-10: 1xBarlume della Serenità, 1xEssenza dei Progenitori, and 53 S

Since the post is already collecting downvotes for me being lucky for once, I won't post any more updates. And the "contains" tab has some content now, so it does not provide added value, anyway. It looks like the chance of looting a Essenza dei Progenitori is, right now, about 30%. Looting two in a row therefore 9%. Four in a row 0,81%.

Long term, I'd be happy if they put in some more Granulo di Genesi, since for pet/mount collectors (like me), that will become a PITA.

Ooops. Now I'll post an update, anyway. After several caches (most of them Mote+Silver only, so no everlasting luck), I got this:

Seems like you can get most Protoform Synthesis items from the chest and the mount mats being on a very low drop rate. I'd only recommend buying it if you are overflowing on Cyphers after upgrading everything.
Note that you need to upgrade Comprensione del Dealico and possibly Comprensione del Sopraniano also completing the quests to unlock Sintesi di Protoforma (Mascotte da Combattimento) and Sintesi di Protoforma (Cavalcatura) to be able to get full value out of these chests.

In another post someone mentioned that Briglia Forgiata nella Fauce also can drop from the Scrigno degli Olea.
However these Protoform Synthesis seem to have a very low drop rate. But soon you won't have anything else to spend your Codici dei Primi on.

This is the Cypher spillover item. In a sense it doesn't really matter what it contains as once you're done with the console, pet, toy, soulshapes, and recipe and/or formula if you need them, you have the choice between buying this or Strumento di Analisi di Cifratura Improvvisato for alts. As the Analysis Tool is 'just' 150 Cyphers, five alt boosts will cost you one cache, which is worth it if you intend to max other alts as you'll get the Cyphers back in no time.

I do around 700 cyphers a day, I play a lot. But at the end of the day, I know I will have my reward, my Olea Cache, with the 12 silvers and the 15 genesis motes inside.

The 6 cosmetics that can drop from this cache are BoE and unrelated to the class or loot spec you're currently on when opening the cache.
The Protomaglio dal Cuore di Smeraldo cosmetic dropped while I was on my SV Hunter, so it seems to be random.
That means you can just send it to an alt or a friend to learn the cosmetic (or AH it).

For those with the Rarity addon installed, I created a custom list to track the cosmetics that are exclusive to the Olea Cache.

IMPORTANT: I only set the "chance to loot" as 1 in 500 as a default setting. It should not be taken as the actual percentage!

If you're like me and tried to cheez the box by farming all the mount items that were easy to get, thinking the box would only give you ones you don't have. THINK AGAIN! The first ones saw the endless possibilities that could happen and despite having the maximum of 2 Lens of Focused Intention; they tried to give me a third. So please just make your mounts instead of waiting on the cache to maybe give you a mount item lol.

I don't know if there was a undocumented change but I just got 2x Briglia Forgiata nella Fauce and 2x Strumenti Sperimentali Incomprensibili in my 8 Cache openings today. At first I thought it was just luck after the second. The third seemed odd. But 4 has to mean something. I pray it wasn't just pure luck and they did increase the odds for everyone.
