Gunpack is a huge barrel strapped with guns on your back.
Item is consumed on use

How it works:
Use the item and get the buff Sprintazaino for 10 seconds
Guns on your back will shoot from time to time and you will "jump" in random direction.
Can get ~15-20 yards up.

Sprintazaino Rank 1 is from Keep Yer Powder Dry Quest in Azsuna (20 quest in Engineering questchain)
Sprintazaino Rank 2 is from Hobart Multivite in Engineering shop in Dalaran
Sprintazaino Rank 3 is from Incarico di lavoro: Sprintazaino in Stormheim. You need to craft Sprintazaino for this quest

Turns out strapping a bunch of guns to your back doesn't work very well as an improvised jetpack.

May be a reference to the flash/mobile game Jetpack Joyride, in which the "jetpack" in question is a pair of machine guns strapped to the protagonist's back that lift him by firing downwards.

Anyone know if/what the shared cooldowns are? It would be great if you could use rocket boots and/or potions with this.

Mostly useless. Maybe minimal use in world pvp as a hunter when fighting a melee.

Since Brulfist Idol hast been nerfed, this can be used to get higher in the air, before using the goblin glider / emerald winds combo. Though it costs a lot.

Blizzard certainly has gone to great lengths to make this item as useless as possible. It's like they made it annoying on purpose.

On use Gunpack gives you a 10 second buff that shoots you up in the air. That sounds good on paper, but there's a catch. The buff only shoots you up for the first 6 seconds, and then randomly launches you sideways. This would be excellent if this was the only thing the item did. Heck, Gunpack would be a damn good item if that were the case.

But as it turns out, the buff is uncancellable. So after you gain all that height, you are still stuck with 4 seconds of the buff, and the item fires 2 more times during that time. This kills all horizontal momentum that you may have gained and forces you to drop down to pretty much the same spot from where you started. This makes Gunpack only good for climbing vertical surfaces, and even then it's frustrating to use since it may launch you into the exact opposite direction that you want to.

Nevertheless, I still was able to use this item (+Kit dell'Aliante dei Goblins, of course) to reach Rezira il Veggente in the no-fly-zone Antoran Wastes (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RLLLbz4_vas), so calling it completely useless is not doing it justice.

Not useless in bfa world pvp as a ranged dps facing a bunch of melee focusing you. You bounce off into the air unreachable while the melee attacking you wonder what happened while they get murdered by your buddies. :D
