Found a couple of talking ogres at 58,33.

For some reason for me and a friend, the ogres at 58,30 are bugging, and I cannot use the whistle.

For those who can get the quest and try to use the whistle to eavesdrop on those ogres. If you keep getting the message out of line of sight, try to find a spot where both ogres are standing within the circle of the bird/whistle. I kept getting those messages until i moved to another spot (58,33) where they were standing close together.

standed around 57,32 on the small litle mountain and targeted right into the 3 orges talking and worked for me in the first try.

Actually, you don't even need coords or map or anything. There are a lot of these "pairs" all over to the north of Circle of Blood - just run around a bit and you'll find one for sure.

To make your whistle work and summon your bird, You must make sure that your targeting circle encompass both the Soothsayer & Taskmaster, Otherwise you will get a "Not in line of sight" error.

also note, that there is a handy little hut-thing made out of large stone slabs. if your 70 and have your flying mount use that. (its to the left of where the SS shown,) just watch out for agroing the soothsayer, he'll still attack.

58, 30 is correct though.

55.5, 36.9 is a great position for those with flyers.

i read these comments and tried doing the q for 15 minutes now. i was looking at those ogres you were talking about and could not use the item because of the torch. then i saw another 2 ogres chatting just a little north. they were siting next to these 2. worked as a charm on them :)

I didn't see anyone mention it, but I didn't bother with this quest until AFTER I had done the Sons of Gruul quests (obtained atop the Circle of Blood tower).

Since I am "Queen of the Ogres" now, all the Bloodmaul Ogres are neutral to me... I could walk right up to the two ogres in question and whistle without aggroing anything.

How to do quest:
1) Come to ~58 ; 30
2) Find somewhere around 2 ogres speaking to each other
3) Use https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=31128 - aim it on ogres. Make sure both ogres will be under 'AoE'.
4) Bird will spawn
5) You done with quest

You have to almost stand on the two before you'll be in range to use the whistle, but they apparently wont aggro you, so get up close, put the yellow AOE target circle on them and click

I got my quest done here 57,33! just stand there and look to the east! you can see 2 or 3 orges ! you see which of them that are talking to each other!

For all the posts that are incorrect they just wasted like 10 minuites of my time so if you want to get it done go to 58, 31 and there are 2 ogres between large rocks having a conversation, just use the whistle and aim it beside them. quest done. THIS IS CORRECT (just did it) and what the hell with saying the location isn't right after the first post. IT IS. dont think otherwise.

Just go Straight North of Thunderlord Stronghold. They are there. Coords are right for those picky about it though.

ok people just to sort this matter out.

there are ALOT of soothsayers and taskmasters talking allover the place (in that area) so all coords might be correct, just not the moment you where there, perhaps someone just slaugtered them to get some xp or farming or whatever.
Point is in this specific quest there is no accurate coord to say is the one "true" coord.

58, 30 there are several taskmasters talking with soulslayers yet if you try it in locations other then this you end up getting a message saying not in line of sight, not sure what the differance is but i could only get it to work at the above noted loc. gl

The two are talking just on the left fork of the path below you and between two pillars. Set up by going left at the last torch and blowing the flute. I tried everywhere else and they were not in line of site. It will feel like you should be seen but you won't be. Good Hunting.

For those who don't have coordinate addons or ESP, the camp is north of the Bloodspire ogres. Seeing as the quest doesn't specify the northern camp as opposed to the southern camp (where the beginning quests in the area are), and people who post on here are prone to leaving out the key part that people have toruble with, it's easy to spend time in the wrong spot .

For those who can fly, land on one of the stone structure next to these guys and you're in perfect range to release the bird.

You don't have to be at a particular location. Just find a taskmaster and a soothsayer talking and use the whistle. I got mine at around 54,33. Easy as pie :)

57, 35 is a good spot if you fly. By the canyon wall is a mini-Stonehenge structure you can land on. I didn't agro the 2 ogres, and was close enough to use the whistle.

I flew to Evergrove from TS and just go north from there, it is literally just around the corner. Kill 1 ogre patrolling up and down the ramp and stand on the ledge behind the talking guys, I tried to stand on the high ledge but it is not close enough, try the one to the right of it that sits lower. Keep taking steps till u get green range and u r done.

If the Mok'Nathal are tormented by the Bloodmaul ogres, then I will stop them and their followers. Ogres are simple creatures, and there is little profit they could gain from harassing the Mok'Nathal.

There must be something more to this. <name>, take Spirit, my hawk, and spy upon the conversations of the Bloodmaul's leaders. He may go undetected where we cannot.
