Felweed is in nearly EVERY pot for above lvl 60 get as much as you can from the get go or you find yourself doing very boring herb runs. Felweed become less available in the higher areas as new herbs are introduced but are still needed just as much if not more.

Felweed is used for most pots alchemy skill 300+, and it's found all over outlands basically. Just run around any area to grind it. Not very expensive on AH either.

Hm, it also spawns in eco-domes in Netherstorm, even though it's not listed here. Not a bad spot either if you need small amount gathered fast.

Be careful harvesting this. It seems to me that most of spots in Hellfire where you can harvest it have like a dozen mobs around them.

Seems far less plentiful in Hellfire since they added (or increased) old world herbs. This is great if you haven't finished leveling your Herbalism / Alchemy / Inscription beyond 300 when you arrive in Outland, but not great if you're just looking for Outland herbs.

At the moment, gathering this node only gives 30 experience, which I find.. odd, considering Mountain Silversage was giving me around 400 xp and Ancient Lichen was giving me upwards of 1k xp.

For those of you farming Felweed post-Cata, I found that doing "ovals" in Blade's Edge was far more efficient and effective than Hellfire.
Trying it out right now, let me know if it works for you all!

Thank you Thekor for the info. Much better imo. Instead of flying randomly all over Hellfire this is a much more dedicated route and finding alot more felweed with dreaming glory as a bonus.

Confirmed Thekor's comment / gathering strategy, flying into the valley in the center of Blade's Edge was much more productive than anywhere else I tried for felweed, and the Dreaming glory is a nice perk.

the spawn rate sucks in 4.3 finding more lower level herb then the felweed i need for inscription..

why they had to bring the crap from vanilla into bc zones is beyond me
