This is a very good Libram for ret and tankadins. If you can get this for a 59 twink pally, you can see a notable differance. With benediction, your seals will cost abot 2% less mana.

Ah how things change, something that was once useful became useless than once again becomes useful.

This Libram is now as of patch 4.0.1 the best obtainable Libram for retribution paladins in the level 60 bracket. For those of you working on a 60 paladin twink this is your best option unless you are in need of hit than get the BoE which is a good bit easier to obtain.

Might I add one of the Very few items that are pre-BC, under level 60, and still have a socket. This was changed in 4.0.1 when Blizz added sockets to Librams.

This drops off of Isalien, the summoned boss in Dire Maul East in Alzzin the Wildshaper's room. She's part of the Dungeon 2 set chain. It dropped for us last night.

Fitting name. Of all the Librams, this one seems the most useful for paladins in general. Hope that, in the future, Blizzard puts out some worthwhile, appropriately located librams.

I don't know what u do with your time, but if i'm fighting anything i'm always changing seals and judging. Anything that reduces mana cost for me is a total life saver. The cleanse libram is also one i'd love to get my hands on.

It's really getting old how many pallies are condeming these books. Lots are saying how a bow with +10 stam or something would be better. Take a look at that for jsut a sec. +10 stam is 100 more hit points. if u have ever taken a hit in end game, first of all u shouldn't be because u are back up healing :P second, that 100 hp is probably not saving u from the 2k dmg u jsut took. on the other hand, since u are healing, u are probably dispelling. even if u cast dispell only 50 times 1250 mana saved. and 50 times is easily reached in a boss fight. Now back to this libram for a sec. 20 less mana for each seal. again, i cast seals at least 30 times in even a small boss fight. that's another 600 mana saved.

If you don't like it, keep placeholder Egan's Blaster, simple. If you never use your seals, ever... you are a noob, plain and simple. Lrn2ply noob, use the abilities your class has and maybe this libram might be worth a whole 1 copper more then the crummy blaster you have equipped.

You don't have to do these quests yourself to get access to the boss. Just find someone who has finished them and they can summon all the bosses as many times as they want.

We've been running Pallies through DM east and druids through LBRS all day...for a price.

Well maybe I'm gullable but I heard and belived;,that palas are going to be able to use theese new thingies like ranged weapons, why can't we pull ffs, only spell we have that affects everything is holy shock, and ONLY if we're holy, and it has a "massive" 20 yd range... lol, why couldn't they make it 30 like every other class, I'm not asking for much, only a good pull spell or a ranged damage item, it doesnt have to do a lot of damage... ffs make it do 1-2 damage, but GIVE US SOMETHING!

now that we are talking about the usefullness of seals and the mana reduction on this relic, it should be mentioned that a pala with the right gear and knowledge of how to dps with a paladin (be it pvp or pve) can actually do alot of damage... ive seen a pala with sulf hammer (the big legendary 2h mace) do as much damage on a ZG raid as the rogue with viskag on the same raid!
So the mana reduction on this relic would increase said paladins dps output quite abit since less used mana on seals would make it possible to make more seals (command f.ex.) per mana bar.

Unless your one of those anal people who hopes to fight long epic battles (Which happens almost not so often enough} then this is for you. As for Pve? Well I doubt any 40 man raid bosses is gonna sit their and attack single targets the whole time. Might aswell not take damage and waste mana healing.

I agree that this libram would be a nice mana saver but theres no way Im goin through the armor quest chain to try and get it...its not 100% drop rate the early numbers put it around 14%. I dont even know why Blizz put these things in the game. Before they did you heard some complaints about not having anything in the ranged slot but for the most part paladins didnt care. Now we got these librams but good or bad theyre nothing like what we were expecting and theres only one (considered by most to be the most useless) that is practical to go after. Blizz would have been better off just leaving things the way they were.

This is IMO the best Relict of the three so far for PvP Pallys that use a lot of Seals, like me.
Especially because such a Pally has usually less Mana than a Healadin so 20Mana each Seal is not too few.

According to allkazam this also drops from the Mage add of the endboss in Diremaul North, haven't got any real confirmation on that though.

There's a pretty ridiculous translation mistake in the german version on this, it says "Shadowbolt" instead of "Seals", I hope they fix that soon.

Like alot of people said, this drops off a summoned boss in DM east(Isalien) near the last part of the tier 0.5 questline. Also, the quest is given at random and you'll get 2 shots at a 1/4 chance of getting that particular boss. If you are unlucky you'll have to complete the entire questline (hand in a flask of supreme power and beat Valthalak)in order to obtain an item capable of summoning any of the 4 bosses. On the other hand, if you have a friend who's already finished the quest line, you can easily farm Isalien for the libram and skip all the tier 0.5 quests (if the libram is all you want of course).

Ok yes pally�s can heal as much as druids and priests in MC but that�s over time. The thing is pally�s cant handle the burst damage of healing a MT in MC/BWL/AQ unless you use your holy light which if u do you wont last 45 sec with your mana pool. Holy light just uses too much mana. The only way pally's can last entire fights healing in these places is by spamming flash of light which stabilizes the groups health. Let me end with this, u take all the priests/druids out of a raid and replace them with pally�s = Dead raid. You replace all the pally's with priests/druids = Raid continues.

BTW im a pally in full tier one, tier two and some badass +healing, mana regen gear, i have played around with many variations and spec's i have been a pally for so long i have just got to the point where i have accepted the fact that Blizz screwed us over. Were not healers we don�t have the regen to heal for an extended period of time we are gimped. Id like to see someone tell me that they have a pally that can spam Holy light and last an entire BWL/AQ fight. The way our talent trees are setup is that we spec for healing we cant DPS. We spec for DPS we can�t heal. You spec for tanking u can�t cause enough holy damage to hold aggro against any good DPS player that knows what their doing and im not talking about some pug 5 man. O ya and no taunt. Thx blizz for the shaft.

We all complained that pallies needed something , just anything. Well here it is and its very nice. Or would u rather have nothing again........yeah thats what i thought -20 mana to seals is very nice especially for pvp.

i dont know how the comments quickly turned into an all-out @#$%^ fest of why pally librams are this and that, or how other ppl wasted even more time in telling these complainers how much they complain, but anyways

ive seen from a post above that this can also drop from Cho'rush in DMnorth, along with the summoned boss from the tier .5 gear quests. Can anyone confirm that this can drop from Cho'Rush? cuz i am in a decent guild and have no need for .5 tier gear (as i do MC on a regular basis) and dont want to waste the 60-200g it will cost to get to that point in the chain.

You dont have to do the quest yourselves, just find someone that's on the quest and go with him to DiM. This thing drops even if you're not on the quest, so you dont have to spend time and money on upgrading the armour you vendored two months ago :)

If you want to pull without any talents use Smolderweb's Eye.
2 min cooldown, 30 yard range.

It doesn't apply damage instantly, so don't use it to tag mobs 1st, but is a nice ranged weapon, with infinite charges and a short enough cooldown for pulling.

I use it myself (got it on my 1st run -lucky).
It's also great for stopping rogues from stealthing ;)

Obviously, got this from the summonable boss for T 0.5 quest at the end of DiM East, although to be honest I wasn't expecting it (I went in there to get my Energized Chestplate, which sadly didn't drop), so it was a pleasant suprise.

Having already had the Libram of Divinity drop for me a few days ago in Scholo, I wasn't quite sure how I was going to use this to begin with, as I'd rather have the + FoL to be honest when I'm instance running in case I need to pull back from combat and back-up heal (I'm holy specced and +heal/mp5 geared anyhow).

In the end I decided to use this for when I'm grinding,as it means I can happily pop seals and judge (JoR) for burst damage without having to worry too much about running out of mana rapidly, making for some pretty efficent gold grinding sessions which are low on mana pot/drink expenses.

I'm thinking part of the reason these only drop during the dungeon 2 upgrade chain is to get some better-geared people to help out people trying to get their upgrades.

You don't have to be on the quest to help others out...

i think every one with relic's has been scrowed over we can not pick up one till lvl 50ish but pepole with range wepoans get to start with a ranged wepoan i think blizz should make a vendor with relic's and we should beable to get them at the start of the game aswell o and druid relic in BRD is a lot easyer to get then the pally since the pally one drop's off the 2nd last boss and i done alot of BRD and not one group made it that far

The Wow Forums from Blizzard have people confirming its From Cho'Rush th Observer in DM which will be intersting because many Groups do not kill him in DM north tribute runs.

They just have some one Stealh / Pet pull the king only or just have a pally or druid play with him while everyone burst dps's the king and the game resets him to ally once king dies first.

So will have to explain to everyone why you will want him dead in Pick up groups hehe.

Let me clarify this for people:

This is a drop off of the summonable boss in DM East that can only be summoned by characters who have either completed the tier .5 chain or have gotten this boss as their random boss during the last leg of the tier .5 chain. She is summoned in the room of the final boss of DM East. She is by far the easiest of the tier .5 bosses (of which there are four minibosses and the final boss Valthalak), and so long as you kick her out of her heals and take down her companion as soon as it spawns you should be fine.

I have personally escorted about six paladins down to get their libram since finishing my tier .5 set. They were all, needless to say, quite happy. ;)

Any book graphics that we can see when equipped? It would be wicked to have a book by the side of the pally, ala WC3.

I certainly hope they introduce some form of graphics.

The Dungeon Set 2 also called Tier 0.5 is aquired through a fairly lengthy, somewhat difficult and expensive quest chain through which you upgrade Dungeon Set 1 pieces.
After completing Return to Bodley which is one part of the chain, you will recieve Brazier of Invocation: User's Manual and Brazier of Invocation.
