Dropped about 30-45 minutes into the instance, nice hunter helm. I am currently using this helm as a 57 hunter, for those who think the helm of exile is better its really not good for hunters but its a great shaman helmet.

Stats swapped in patch 2.3 from +12 agi + 28 stam to +28 agi +12 stam. That's a hell of a lot of agility on one piece of armor for its level.

Not to start the usual fued, but I think this is a hunter item. Not that shammys cant and wont use, the stamina is great. but (and i dont play a shamy, so idk) but im not sure how the agility is really needed in that department... but in a horde group i can still see how both a shamy and a hunter would roll need on this

I wish the helm actually matched the set. The rest of the pieces are black and dark and then you have the silver helm with the some blue stuff on the top...kinda lame imo. I think this set has its uses, but I think one should only intend to use 1-2 pieces to the set. As a hunter or a Shamen you do loose stats compared to other pieces available. If this set started at level 46 it would be an awesome set, but it conflicts both with the Beaststalker and Elements that provide well rounded stats specialy needed for each class. Btw keep writing that hunters dont need strength...know the class before you talk trash about it. If strength wasnt a stat used by hunters aswell, they wouldnt let us use every weopon available in the game ( accept maces..yah i know those arent available)

I love how this set looks and how awesome the stats are... I've yet to see anyone on my server with this set though =/ i'm hoping to see someone with this set black dragonscale shoulders and mayb skullflame and see how awesome they'd be ^^

I'm a level 55 shaman and this dropped last time I was in BRD. Agi is great (I keep usually 14-16 crit%) and you can never have enough stamina. Sadly for me, a hunter was in the group and we both rolled need, he won the roll by 3. I laughed when he put it on though since it looked pretty silly

Hey guys I need a little insight here. since both Sunken Temple and Blackrock Depths are annoying as hell instances, I'm wondering what helm I should pursure.

I'm and enhancement shaman, and I'm wondering if I should go after this helm, or the Horns of Eranikus ( https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=10833/horns-of-eranikus ).
Which one is better for and ENHANCEMENT Shaman?

I have both a hunter and a shaman, I would much rather have this set on my shaman then i would for my hunter mostly being my shaman is enhancement and my hunter is marksmanship. The set bonus's are great for an enhancement shaman. in ways i think this was made more for a shaman then a hunter because before bc came out pretty much all the shaman sets where made for elemental and restoration shamans, they dont have any good for enhancement type sets! If I was on my hunter and a set piece of this dropped and a shaman was in the group I would pass for them because in the end my hunter would have bs which in ways is a whole lot better. which I did get all her bs =)

This just dropped for me off the spider in BRD... Im a Beast Mastery-specced hunter, and this helmet is absolutely great for me. Good for some shammys too.

using this for a while. Just got Helm of narv for 98g, sticking in AH for 250 for the fun of it. If it doesnt sell im giving it to my hunter.

When i was a lvl 50 hunter i tried soo hard to get the entire set, running BRD every chance i got, my advice to you, dont even bother with it you will get some much better gear in the ouutlands

I agree that the helm looks a bit foolish. Just turn the show helm option off in interface options and everything is okay.

You obviously don't know anything about an enhancement Shaman, because burst damage is the only thing an enhancement Shaman wants, which you mainly need agility for. You should play more than 1 class before you open your mouth. Plain ingnorance.

hey i use a 54 enhancement spec shammy, and the whole point of enhancement is to sacrifice life for damage, and in every duel or PVP i do my goal is to kill the guy before he gets a shot off, if you do not do this, then you are most likely dead (or in the case of fear spamming warlocks, running around like an idiot. To conclude my point, AGI and STR are enhancement shammys best friends (main attributes for enhancement shammys, Hunters and Enhancement Shamans should roll need on this item and the rest of the set, if anyone says otherwise, may there extremities be ripped apart by the spirits.

Really agi doesn't add much to the damage power of an enhancement shammy. (cept crit) while it is the main stat for a hunter. You'd best call on it beforehand if you want it or you'll probabally not get invited again if you roll on this vs a hunter.

I used this cool helmet but later i did the Exile quest in The Temple of Atal'Hakkar and got Helm of Exile, since im a ranged only hunter im now using the Helm of Exile instead of Savage Gladiator Helm.
I got the gloves and feet though =)
