A reasonable place to solo farm for these is Tyrhold (just east of Valdrakken) - the Titan Defense Matrix that are around there.

The drop rate seems to be around 10-20% (you can't trust the drop percentages in the "dropped by" tab because those don't factor in non-engineers), so you can get it quick, or you can farm all of them and get unlucky.

edit: Now that our item levels are a bit higher, I suggest also hitting the Malfunctioning Protectors - hit them with your biggest abilities and they drop fast. They spawn 3 little orbs when they die, and those (easily killed) orbs can drop the Mark.

This one can be pretty tough for non-geared or leveling toons. Most of the drops are from elites or non-scaling level 70's. Blizz has not made it easy for Eng this xpac.

/ways are maybe not the best places to farm for these but these are what I gathered from other WoWhead comments and drop rates.

Please note that I am not 100% sure as for the IDs of what can be looted in Disturbed Dirts and Expedition Scouts, though as they are lootable through the same method it shouldn't be a problem. Do no hesitate to reply if you looted one or the other and the IDs are wrong so I can modify it. :)

Tip for the keepers mark especially for low levels,

if you queue for halls of infusion dungeon on normal mode, you are VERY likely to get the item in the first 2-4 trash packs before the boss even, not accounting for queue time itself, takes less than 2mins in the dungeon and you can leave,

if your dpsing you will be replaced instantly so don't ' feel bad' for leaving

Went to farm this in Tyrhold as I do every week. Was pleasantly surprised to discover the Matrice di Difesa dei Titani's no longer run from you. Once aggro'd, they will even follow you away from other mobs.

A small update, as of 10.1 I got one of these from the guardian mob in Nar Ks Kol in the Zaralek Caverns, coords around 61 72. The area is free from elites, these probably do not drop orbs but if you are after the knowledge this is way easier to farm solo.
