Blizzard seems to be finally bringing tanking gear into play, with BoA items.

Latest additions are:
Weapon:
Bloodsoaked Skullforge Reaver As the heirloom version of Skullforge Reaver (sword main hand)

Cloak:
Ripped Sandstorm Cloak As the heirloom version of Sandstorm Cloak

Armor:
Burnished Breastplate of Might As the heirloom version of Breastplate of Might (plate chest)
Burnished Helm of Might As the heirloom version of Helm of Might (plate head)
Burnished Legplates of Might As the heirloom version of Legplates of Might (plate legs)
Burnished Pauldrons of Might As the heirloom version of Pauldrons of Might (plate shoulder)

Misc:
Burnished Dark Iron Ring As the heirloom version of Dark Iron Ring (ring)

Note about the ring: not sure if this is really going to be a tanking gear, as the Vanilla Dark Iron ring is an agility item, but there is also Heavy Dark Iron Ring which is actually a tanking item, but with the Heavy prefix, which is most probably the case.

NOTE: If you have a low level tank, and you're waiting until level 40 to purchase this, don't wait any longer!

I bought this ahead of time for my level 22 warrior, thinking I'd be prepared when she hit level 40. But when she received it in the mail, the description said Mail. I couldn't believe my eyes! The armor type actually scales with level!

Correct. It's the same for all the classes that upgrade their armor type at level 40. The armor type will scale with proficiency.

Having all Argent Tournament dailies unlocked, doing each of them, and choosing the Champion's Purse results in gaining 14 each day. It takes 60 seals to get any Chest or Helm heirloom (as well as the Bloodsoaked Skullforge Reaver , Venerable Dal'Rend's Sacred Charge , or aBalanced Heartseeker : the only weapons for 60 seals).

To get a chest piece, helm, and 60-seal heirloom weapon, it will take 13 days of doing each daily, using this logic :

60 Seal heirloom takes 5 days to gain, 70 seals are gained in the process.
Buying a 60 seal heirloom after 5 days leaves you with 10 seals left towards the next heirloom.
Four days nets 56 seals, with the 10 you had remaining from the previous heirloom, you will have 66.
Buying your second heirloom will leave you with 6 extra seals towards your next heirloom.
Add this to another 4 days (and another 56 seals) and you come up to 62 seals.
Buying your third heirloom on the 13th day will leave you with 2 seals left over.

This is easily proven by the following : 3 heirlooms at 60 seals each = 180 seals needed.
14 seals are gained each day. 180/14=12.85 days. Considering you can't earn more than 14 seals any given day, you round up the 12.85 days to 13.

So, in the case of the new tanking heirlooms, you could have all non-guild reward heirlooms in 13 days, with out ever setting foot in a bad PUG for Justice Points!

BOA Gear:
I have talked to a GM and found out the following from them...

Can not be transferred to ther Servers even though it is Binds to Battle.net Account
You can transfer it between the opposing, as long as it is the same Server
If you have multiple WOW accounts you can transfer them to another one of you Characters as long as it is the same Server

I wish since it was BOA you could move you BOA gear to another Server, the only was to do so is to have it on your Character and transfer them ($25.00 US) to the Server that you desire to have them on.

This is a awsome chest peice for people that want to tank or do Battle grounds with the full set of armor. A Warrior will destroy!

are there any level requirements to buy these heirlooms? started on a fresh server about a month ago and i miss my heirlooms, i know they cost jp but that should be easy right to get through Honor convertion to it right?
