This ring is a bit on the disappointing side in my opinion. The spell power is high, but 50 haste/spirit sounds a bit lacking when considering what I would expect a level 245 item to have.

it looks like, despite the spirit, this is a BiS ring for resto shammy. it seems to be for me using a CH+HW rotation that favours haste a lot.

According to rawr this is 3rd BiS for mages, 1st being from Heroic 25 man Anub, and 2nd from Ulduar.
So I would recommend getting it, since the chances your guild might clear Heroic Anub anytime soon is kinda low.

In my opinion: If you're a resto druid and have 35 emblems to spare this should be the ring of your choice. 50 spirit gives your bonus healing in tree form a boost and 50 haste gets you closer to a 1 second GCD.

This isn't a bad choice for holy pallies either, despite the Spirit. The extra haste always helps, and you could do a lot worse if you don't have reliable raiding groups.
