The 245 and 258 versions of these stack for an effective 318 spell power and 272mp5 while casting.

This trinket seems so powerful that I have a hard time believing it's for real. The spellpower is great on it's own, but the regen is so high that this alone can change your entire playstyle. It's almost like the designers are saying: it's not going to be about mana management any more, the healthbars of your raid is all you have to worry about now.

"Each time you cast a helpful spell, you gain 18 mana per 5 sec. for 10 sec. Stacks up to 8 times." is just another way of saying "Your helpful casts now cost 36 less mana."

I usually do not stack mp5 since haste, crit or spellpower are usually more powerful stats. Once I started using this trinket my raid healing became exponentially easier. With full 25-man raid buffs I can sit at nearly neutral mana while chain casting LHW despite being stacked with pure haste for certain hard mode encounters. This trinket is my life-saver on the hard mode of Twins of Val'kyr.

For Holy priests specced into Serendipity, casting Flash Heal or Binding Heal will add TWO stacks of this trinket. I guess gaining Serendipity counts as casting a helpful spell.

Also, Holy Concentration will add a stack, if that procs as well. (Flash healed and got 2 stacks, flash healed again and the stacks jumped from 2 to 5 when Holy Conc. procced.)

Blizzard patched it and Serendipty/Holy Concentration no longer add stacks. However, Circle of Healing and Holy Nova now add stacks equal to the number of targets they hit! So one CoH in a raid = 6 stacks!

I discovered that it procs 1ce a second whenever you have Beacon of Light on a target. Heals through beacon also proc the effect. however, the FoL HoT ticks do not.

Interesting thing about this, possibly a bug: the spell Fire Nova for Shamans procs the Mp5 bonus.

As far as I'm concerned this is still best-in slot for every healing class, after seeing what we have seen from the Icecrown bosses.

But Arthas may drop something better, who knows.

This trinket is absurdly ahead of it's time. That much mana on top of a very respectable spellpower value is completely unbelievable.

Some might say, if you have 0 regen problems, Solace goes down. Don't kid yourselves. This allows for such a great slack on regen that you can have a much larger margin in gemming and enchanting, increasing your throughput at a nearly unnoticeable cost. If you get your hands on this thing, you'll love it.

Human Priests on PvP simply gain an unfair advantage of having a near constant improved Blessing of Wisdom, on top of better heals AND better burst.

The part where it gets funny is that Icecrown Citadel trinkets still fall behind the incredible capacities of this Trinket. And it's almost a 20 item level difference. A less severe ilvl scaling issues than with that ilvl200 Libram being BiS for paladins through an absurd amount of content (EDIT: Acording to the libram's comment page, it still is a BiS for holy paladins in 3.3.x. Librams that last an entire expansion...), or perhaps more severe when you consider it affects all healer classes.

You simply cannot go wrong with a trinket like this. Expect fierce competition even if you're running with ICC level players.
