Its really weak im my opinon. Even the 1 from heroic badges are better/comparable.

But if your guild kills Malygos.. thats all worth it anyway. No loot can beat this fun fight.

This is actually better than the badge one because of the socket, a little more stam, and a little bit of pen. You can get the 3 crit back with a gem which would also put you at +4 ap over the badge neck.

this is a great item to slap a JC special gem in because almost no necks actually have a gem slot. It's also a fantastic piece in its own right, although as a shaman I find the armor penetration is mostly wasted (better for hunters and rogues who do much more physical dps than magic).

Since when did an enhancement shaman's melee vanilla damage not count as physical DPS?

Actually this is awesome for Ret Pallies too. Auto Swing, Crusader Strike & Divine Storm are all physical attacks that are mitigated by armor. ArP is nothing to laugh at anymore, quite a valuable stat. Awesome necklace for *ANY* physical dps class.
