Note for Hunters
For pure dps stats these are worse than the Argent Crusade leather equivalent , even with 3/3 careful aim, these boots have 149 RAP vs 173 on the leather ones, These also have 0.11% less crit from the agility. Add in the all the haste on Hunter gear, hit will probably prove more valuble, making the Leather boots more valuble overall for pure dps.

24 RAP, 0.11% more crit and 66 hit rating vs 615 mana and 58 haste.

Quick stats:

0.50% crit, 149 attack power, 490HP and 58 haste
For Hunters at level 80.

I'm just throwing this out there, but if you combine all of the mail armor pieces from the different factiosn in WotLK, it almost forms a set of sorts. It only excludes the leggings.

Trivia: The only item in the wowhead database that contains the phrase "Twink". Unfortunately, not very good for twinks.

Actually if you have (3/3) in the Careful Aim talent as a hunter you'd get something like this:

Boots of Twinkling Stars: 41 int (41 AP), 58 haste
Boots of the Neverending Path: 56 AP, 9 agi, 66 hit

So using the Boots of Twinkling Stars you'd get 41 int, 58 haste, compared to 15 AP (56 - 41), 9 agi and 66 hit. If you're already hit-capped. For examble having talents in Focused Aim (3/3) I'd take the mail boots from Kirin Tor.
