Some of the bosses in Naxx share specific drops with eachother, I got mine from Grobbulus.

On a sidenote this one can proc from the Major Glyph of Holy Light, it can also proc off of Seal of Light procs but not Judgement of Light.

The HoT is quite effective but due to the internal cooldown isn't very useful for multi-target heals, since the HoT will often be wasted on a target that isn't likely to take immediate further damage and need the extra healing. In my opinion the trinket will be most useful for someone who is typically dedicated to tank healing, where the HoT will seldom be wasted.

considering the tooltip says "Direct" i doubt it. This would be a Tank healers trinket. Paladins and Disc Priests a like will be after it. The spell power alone is enough but the Added HoT is very nice. However it would be interesting to see if its affected by talents. but i doubt it

It will proc from regrowth, but not rejuv, wild growth, or lifebloom. Thus, probably not the best option for the majority of druid specs. Consider the stacking spellpower trinket from 25 man Sartharion https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=40432 instead.

This will proc with nearly any non-hot healing effect.

If you have the Power Word: Shield glyph, it will proc.
It will proc off PoM.
It will proc off CoH.
It will proc at a rate of ~12% for any heal from our experiences per recap (recount=lawl)

This thing drops like crazy cakes, so don't get all QQ if you don't get it the first 10 times in Naxx 25. The only thing I've seen that drops more is Seized Beauty.

Just for the +spellpower alone it's a worthy healing upgrade till something sweeter comes along, and a debatable replacement for your Egg trinket if you're not into buffing +haste.

This would be super great for a Pally, imo, but with Priests raid healing, this is an equal win-win.

In beta, the HoT effect got +10% from Purification. Not sure if they made it so it doesn't on live, but sort of an added bonus.

Not sure if this has been posted, but my combat log is showing an average tick of 982, for a total amount of 3928 (4 ticks). The tooltip value is 3572, and with more and less spell power, it's giving me 3928 every time.

Edit: Looks like I don't read before I post. Seems to be the result of Purification :)

This is an excellent item. It is not however affected by normal spell power. While it's good for a paladin, they've got nothing to buff up the heal that it offers.

I still love mine though. Even with a 45 second internal cooldown, it's one of the finest healing trinkets a holydin can find.

It procced on a lifeblooms bloom for me today. Unfortunatly it was a lifebloom cast on myself, so i am wondering if anyone has seen it proc on lifeblooms targeted at other players? I haven't.

Also it seems to need an actual effective heal to proc, I spam regrowth like crazy just before it is time for Loatheb's shield to weaken and it has never procced during the shield for me.

actually i have this on my druid, and it does proc from regrowth, the final heal from lifebloom, and swiftmend. the only thing it doesnt proc off of is rejuvenation.

edit: so i was playing around with rejuv with my friend today, with it being the only spell i was casting and this trinket happend to proc off one of the ticks. not sure if it was a random fluke or if not, but it did proc off my rejuv.

I've had mine procc off my Beacon of Light, oddly enough. If I have my beacon up on someone, and they get healed from me healing someone else, the trinket sometimes proccs on the beacon'd person instead of the person who initially got healed.

I have this on my resto shaman and it's not all that great.

It DOES proc off Earth Shield which is easy on the mana for less healing intensive fights, but due to the 45 second cooldown it's pretty terrible for raid healing. 90% of the time it procs off a chain heal bounce on a hunter pet or lock who just Life Tapped. Another thing that makes this terrible is it procs off Ancestral Awakening, which causes the proc to be wasted.

TL:DR? As a shaman it's great for heroic healing but ^&*! for raid healing. Grab Embrace of the Spider or Soul of the Dead unless you're primarily tank healing that fight. (Even then I mainly use my Egg/Soul combo).

Just got this on my priest earlier today and then ran many heroics / the rest of Naxx25. What I found is that, if it procs off CoH (and there's an EXTREMELY high chance it will if the internal CD is done) I get the HoT buff from the trinket 100% of the time, not any of the people I had healed with CoH. I'm petitioning a GM tomorrow to see if this is a glitch or not, might be new with 3.0.8.9? Can any other priests comfirm this?

Divine Plea does not effect the HoT effect on this trinket if you cast Divine Plea AFTER the trinket procs. If you cast Divine Plea before the trinket procs your HoT will only hit for ~715.

I just got this on my Druid. I can confirm that it do proc on Swiftmend but not for the last(final) tick on Lifebloom. I find that strange because the last tick should count as a direct heal. When I say "should" I base my conclusions on the fact that the final tick can crit unlike a "normal" HoT tick. It's also shown as a direct heal when it lands on the target even when the target got full hp, which makes it count as overhealing, the normal HoT ticks don't.

As far as I have seen, the proc works with Regrowth, Nourish, Healing Touch and Swiftmend.

So Blizzard stop fooling around and make my trinket act like it should do! :D

Nice trinket, got it on my priest a couple days ago, dropped from heroic Harvester.

I've noticed it procs on Holy Nova and Prayer of Healing but the HoT always seems to land on me, and only me, even if I'm healing others within the same group. Sweet pile of spellpower though!

Used this through an entire Naxx 10 run on my shaman. It accounted for just over half of Ancestral Awakening.
The proc may seem a little weak, but it's free and the spellpower on it is pretty good.
I use a Illustration with it.

Since resto druids changes in 3.1, we'll be casting direct heals a lot more (blizzard is really pushing nourish) thus making this trinket quite nice also for trees.

I'm sure someone on Elitist Jerks will be testing this trinket.

My guild wouldn't let me have this trinket because they didn't know if a druid could proc it. I just got it 3 days ago. I'll tell you that regrowth and nourish both proc the trinket. As regrowth has an initial direct heal then goes to hot, and nourish well its direct, as is healing touch.

Resto Druids can use this trinket. There is a 45 second internal cooldown. Direct healers, priests, paladins, shamans will give you a hard time over this trinket. Just tell them to stuff it and take it. You can make this trinket proc just as much as them, don't let them BS you.

I use direct healing spells a lot! and by that i mean i nourish people like crazy :)
And after 3 full 25 man naxx cleared i can confirm that in overall healing done this trinket had almost exactly 1% role in my healing.

To further illustrate if someone doesn't get it:
let's say this was healing report for me: (the breakdown of my overall healing after whole 25naxx run, this is not real it's just example but the last line being 1% is real)
nourish:29%
lifebloom 21%
wild growth:18%
regrowth: 17%
rejuvenation 14%
Forethought Talisman 1%

In my opinion it should be buffed cause 1% is kinda lame... 2 or 3% would be decent, I'm guessing you could maybe get more than 1% healing from some spellpower or crit or whatever bonus that some other trinket could give.
111 static spellpower is nice though...

This is an exceptional pvp trinket if you are a holy pally in the 2's (or possibly 3's) bracket. The HoT is an invaluable addition to your heals, especially against CC teams. This combined with Sacred Shield adds up to a lot of mitigated/healed damage. It may not be a big heal, but due to the nature of arenas, it is always being useful.

The HoT from this trinket does stack with the Fel Reaver's Piston. While you probably won't keep the Piston for very long, it's interesting to see the proc combination work with Shaman healing spells.

For example, Riptide, earthliving, earth shield, healing stream, and both of these HoT effects proc, you get a burst of healing from heal over time spell alone.

Hmm... Thrash 777 says that The Egg of Mortal Essence no longer procs from Fel Armor (first reply to first comment on the egg's page). However he says it does proc on Life Tap and Health Funnel, which is what I had in mind when I first saw this. =)

Reading further on said page shows conflicting results. Multiple confirmations for Life Tap but mixed results for Fel Armor/Synergy... but all from posts made on patch 3.08/3.09. Given how awesome this item would be if it affected every "healing" spell Warlocks get, I'm skeptical.

3572 is the heal, how much mana would we spend to heal the same amount? I ask on behalf of druids.

if we compare to a Nourish that heals for 10k at the cost of 683mana, thats 14.65health per mana, or 0.0683mana per health.

so.. a 3572 heal should cost about 244mana
thats 244mana saved per 60secs(int CD + some secs for it to proc), and that equals 20mp5

After extensive testing, I have confirmed this does NOT proc on Penance. Very unfortunate considering this is a direct heal by any reasonable definition.

I play on a 3.3.5 private server (Warmane) and have been brainstorming a self healing warrior build. I have noticed that sometimes, usually with foreign buffs applied to me, my healing pots can sometimes crit. Does anyone know if this trinkets HoT procs from healing potion use?

Also as another part of the build I plan to use Bryntrolls and experimenting with Blood Draining, Lifeward, Battlemaster, and also Blade Ward enchants, and wonder if any of these healing sources proc this trinket.
