It actually is angry- notice how the fingers are set, pointing finger is cut so the fist looks like its showing you the finger. ANGRY

What is Blizzard doing to Enhancement Shamans?

In BC they just altered lots of Main Hand weapons to become One-Hand weapons; now nearly all good Enhancement off-hands are Main Hand restricted?

As an enhance shaman, I am glad that they are finally itemizing us with correct stats now with weapons and gear that obviously we would use. not so hot about the look tho.

sidenote: it really does look like its giving us the finger.

Picked this up for my shaman today, gotta say I am impressed with the itemization on it. Even better is you can DW it! Look awesome, and overall pretty awesome mace. Maybe a little faster than I would like, but everything else more than makes up for it.

Should probably add it's one of, if not, the best weapons in the game for enhance shamans right now. The only thing arguably better than it would be the fist weapon off of heroic Kel'thuzad. So if you can, grab one (or two!)

I got 2 of these in the same Naxx clear on my Shaman. One off Gluth, the next off Noth. Very nice weapons. I'll probably offhand one if I get Calamity's Grasp off Kel.

Great shaman weapon, picked one up a few days ago, looking around It appears to the best offhand right now for us. Great for main handing too until you get stuff off Kel'Thuzad.

I'd say it's the best main-hand and off-hand for enhancement shaman. With the extra +hit on it, I'd say it's probably as good, if not better, than =https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=40383]. It is also a whole lot easier to get imo. I use one in both hands and they rock!

You are correct on the behalf that Calamity's Grasp IS better for every class other than Death Knights, however everything below that is flat out wrong. Hailstorm is far superior to Widow's Fury and has more valuable stats than Split Greathammer, .1 more dps, and a higher speed all accounting for more BcB damage and keeping Razorice up.

The only reason anyone would even consider Last Laugh is for the higher dps, but the stats on it are far less desirable than any dps 1 hand weapon. As you said yourself, stats do scale with dps, and the stats on Hailstorm make it superior to Last Laugh.

The reason Angry Dread is the best MH weapon for DW DKs is because it is the best slow 1h we can use, and the slow speed accounts for higher strike damage and higher Fallen Crusader (...etc) uptime. This is not post 3.0.8 where fast/fast is better. KM has a set 5 procs per minute, no matter what speed you use.

Angry Dread IS the best MH weapon available to DW DKs.

As for HS vs SG, you say you don't need expertise on a weapon because you can get it in other slots....but that same logic doesn't apply to the hit on hailstorm? Well done, you win with your impeccable reasoning.

For all damage,
29 crit > 20 ap @ T7 gear levels

For you and your ghoul's survivability,
42 sta > 39 sta

For physical contribution to damage,
12 agi > 25 ARP and 0.1 speed (all are trivial stats though)

What is better between the hit and exp depends on your other gear.

My group was just finishing one of our latest 25 runs and we had to add a few pugs since we were short a few. Our combat rogue lost out to an Unholy/blood DK on this. We normally keep it on group loot since its easy and no one in our normal group makes dumb rolls. Lesson being if you have any pugs whatsoever in your group make sure its on ML before boss fights.

I've been searching the weapon database for a while, and with ToT in 3.2, this is probably one of the best DW weapons for dk's favoring the unholy subspec with BcB that is pre-uldaur. It's slow, and has hit, a nice way to compensate the loss with DW. Unless theres something I'm missing (I think KT drops some nicer stuff on hard mode, but I couldn't find it) enhancement shamans better get these while they can.
