This shield looks ridiculous on my BE pally. It's off center and it looks as though it will tip her over. Nice stats, though. No one else in the raid wanted it, so I snatched it up!

As a raiding holy paladin, I consider this my third step of having top raid gear (coming from Tharon'ja's Aegis and Protective Barrier of the Light). You can then upgrade to the Voice of Reason, which can be found in H Naxx.

This shield was actually forged from the skull of a Tauren rogue- one of the few to ever be caught. He payed for this blunder with his life. Fortunately, he now fights alongside the allies he let down if they manage to kill a giant spider-bug thing.

In other words, alliance healers should be wary of this shield, as it contains the spirit of the Horde!

This shield was best in slot until Ulduar, Although I still think it is very good. I just got this from 25 man naxx off Anub'Rekhan and I must say at first I didnt like the positioning and I thought my aegis of damnation looked a lot better but I mean after about an hour you really start to love the fact that you have a tauren face as a shield, It really goes with my Tauren shaman I would suggest having it if you are a healer even if you think it doesnt look good.

This shield is like the 3rd best a Holy pally can get for healing.....It just SCREAMS badass :P

I agree, the way this shield sits on your back is just horrible. the 'side on' look to it $%^&es me off having had it for so long now, and not able to get ahold of a better one from ulduar/toc yet.
