Possible reference to the Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion, in which the Amulet of Kings is required to keep the Gates of Oblivion closed.

This is the only +str DPS neck with ilvl of 200.

All Endgame melee DPS necks have +agi.

Very good for retribution paladin's and DPS warriors where +str is superior to +agi, as well as DPS DK's.

Additional Information for Retribution Paladins:

I've just been running some numbers based off EJ's assumption of STR vs. Straight AP (when spec'd) 1STR is equal to 2.3AP

Personally if you like the crit more so than the scalable AP the Badge reward is for you. I've found with other gear, my current critical strike rating is more than adequate.

However you can also argue to AGI on the badge neck scales as well as the scaling of strength. Either way it's down to personal choice. However I highly recommend this Blue neck if you are wanting to use badges for more needed gear.

I have to say, that even though Druids have been put in the same buckets than rogue, 1str is still = 2ap for us. With all the agility we get from leather gear, this is one of the only pendant with str on it that could be worn for dps...
Although, I would not dream of rolling on it against a plate wearer

Pretty much the best raid neck that any Unholy DK can find. Not worth spending badges for Pendant of the Outcast Hero for only a slight upgrade. I see myself wearing this blue neck until I find something in Ulduar.

Possible reference to Elder scrolls: Oblivion, would have been funny to see a little quote on the bottom saying " Hard to keep it around your neck " as nobody but bloodline could wear it.
