With the upcoming nerf to Illumination and boost to all mp5 gear, this helm may be more preferable to it's Hateful counterpart when 3.2 goes live.

As for looks, I like the wings better than a silver bowl, but if you don't, there's an option in your interface to hide it. :)

Not sure why my original comment was downrated, other than perhaps the original poster did not like my disagreeing with him. However, I've come to give an update. :P

Since 3.2 live I had gotten this helm and a number of other gear pieces with mp5 stats, and I have been pleasantly surprised. Since the changes, my paladin can mass heal BGs without the hint of going OOM, and her survivability has not decreased. I have been equally satisfied with the mp5 on my PvE gear.

Holy pallies, if you're looking for a level 200 pvp helm, pick this one! You won't be disappointed (anymore). :)
