As of Tuesday, Feb 13th, this pattern has been stealth changed via the 2.0.7 patch.

Away from my comp with the client on it, but it is now

18 int
16 spirit
11 mp5
same 2 sockets and socket bonus.

if i remember correctly. It's in that neighborhood at least.

Odd change in my opinion. A regen minded healer is still better off with the Primal Mooncloth set. I suppose this gives a regen option to those who aren't tailors or specialised in a dps subset, but still....

I don't get why this belt is so epic. I'd pick the blue one any day - yes only Shamans can use mail of the healing classes, but still.

For human priests with Spirit of Redemption, it's actually 15 mp5. Combine that with 3/3 Meditation, and you have 2,26 mp5 while casting. With Improved Divine Spirit and Spiritual Guidance, you have yourself an additional +8,45 dmg/heal.

I always see this pattern very cheap on the AH, and I always curious why it's so cheap and I why don't usually see people wearing it, as it seems pretty good. Well I did some research, and it seems that at least for priests, most of them are tailoring and the Primal Mooncloth belt trounces this belt, just destroys it - you get 81 healing in exchange for 3 mp5 (not to mention set bonus if you have 3 pc PMC). So for priests at least, if they go tailoring they don't want this belt.

I believe if PMC belt was instead another armor piece, this belt would be much more in demand.

Just posting this so if other people were confused like me why this pattern always so cheap.

i found somebody who crafted me this belt, have put in 2 badges from heroics with healing, spirit and mana regen in it.
cant find any beter belt for the moment although the lack of stamina.

I just bought this, and, as a (not tailor) healer, I found this belt very useful. Great mana regeneration, best for long fights!

No, just no, this is a horrible belt and a waste of gold and time. It has no +healing and no +spell damage. That alone makes it *bad*, even with +10 MP5 and +21 Spirit.

There are plenty of belts better than this for pre-Kara healers and DPS, including some tailored ones and BoE AH blues.

People tend to be quick to discredit this belt... a few things to consider....

Mages (arcane spec), Priests (disipline, i believe), and Druids (resto) have talent points to allow 30% of your (spirit based) mana regeneration to continue while casting.

Mages also have https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/spell=43024. Also with patch 3.0.2 and the Glyph system and the addition of https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=42749.... and a new talent point https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/spell=44399

I have an arcane spec mage. I have this belt, and its a hard choice between this and https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=30038 ...

Needless to say, with raid buffs in basic kara lvl gear, i get close to 400 mp5 WHILE casting.
Nothing more useless then an OOM mage...lol

I wont even start on the https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/spell=44413 talent point and its uses while mana shield is up... got to have alot of mp5 to keep mana shield up.

The belt looks okay for any kind of caster, it's just sort of a generic epic for casters. As far as +healing goes, you could add healing sockets, same goes for DPS.

The real benefit of this is that if you are a non-tailoring caster, you can get someone to make it for you, as opposed to the better epics such as frostweave, primal mooncloth set, etc.

So this would be a great crafted epic for any caster who isn't a tailor, because it's generic, and the sockets allow you to mold it to fit your specific needs.

however, if you are a tailor, the BoP sets you can make for yourself are much better.

Nice belt + one of the cheapest belts to craft - 14 primal mana and a nether ! can grind the mana easy.
It is real easy to get the mats for and would suit someone untill they get something better from one of the bigger instances.
Its maybe not the best but good for my Shadow Priest - I would take a drop in + spell damage for the 21 Spirit and 11 MP5

Besides the 2 sockets can provide a boost along with the 2 socket bonus of +3 spell damage

also there really isn't much healing belt if you're not a primal mooncloth tailor -- this belt is multi-purpose (DPS or healing) for those long boring fights like someone once said.

Well relitively speaking to what's available pre-raid this belt is very good. This also might be the cheapest epic to craft (besides the arcane resist gear). Only other real healing belt option is the lifeblood belt which very few people have the pattern for.

hard to get on my realm. about 200-250g. Nether vortex was the HARDEST to get. 90g for one. (DOH) spent 5/25 out of my money there. Mote of Mana can be found off the robots in Quel danas, which i did farm, took me about a week to farm em - because of the crowd at Isle is way too big. everytime i see one everyone. and the imbued nether = easiest because i was a tailor and doing the Isle Of Quel danas dailies and killed some of the Wretched Devourers. Which also was overcrowded.

out of all of this: i farmed 100g in only one place, and got 2/3 of the mats for this belt.

it might be better if you FARM the mats, not buy them.
