on the PTR this set is not able to be transmogrified. I assume this will be launched so us warriors can't use this armor set.

hope this gets changed to get transmogged, nothing says "alliance" more than the gold 60 pvp plate sets

You will not be able to transmog the gear currently linked from this page. The level 60 PVP gear from Orgrimmar/Stormwind that is purchasable with honor is not eligible for transmogrification. See here: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/3657275742?page=9#178

Important: You must have attained PVP rank 9 by the old PVP system in vanilla (and therefore have the Feat of Strength achievement Legionario/Cavalier Capitano or higher) in order to purchase this gear.

There is currently no other way to obtain the transmogrifiable version of this set.

It is purchasable from Krixel Brillabotti in Area 52.

On 5.2, this set will be avaliable to transmog to those who have the requisite title levels from rated battleground system.

Look at the notes:

"Characters that have attained requisite title levels (Centurion, Knight-Champion, Grand Marshal, High Warlord, etc.) through the Rated Battleground system will be able to purchase old PVP items requiring those titles."

I would like to add wearing a bright yellow shirt and the Imperial Plate belt has to be the best to wear with this set, yet everyone uses a weird looking gold belt that sin't the same colour. Hope I helped.

Players who are eligible to transmog this appearance need to have achieved Cavalier Capitano/Legionario back in vanilla or 1800 RBG rating. They can purchase transmogrifiable versions from vendors in Area 52.

Looks like this and more previously unobtainable sets will be obtainable for everyone in Legion, as seen here: https://youtu.be/yFA6tgXhoDo?t=6m48s. They are bought with the transmogrification currency Mark of Honor

Just would like to point out that even if the Field Marshall set was available to everyone without Knight rank, it says "replica" so would I have to rebuy the full set, probably, to get the xmog set to show up? I have 5 of the 7 pieces and can't complete my set.
