This is one of the "easier" Transmogrification sets to get; simply get your reputation to Honored with every single rep faction in Outland. Its harder than the comparable sets for classes that aren't dedicated DPS, because they can get multiple pieces with the same look from a given vendor, but its easier than spending hours upon hours farming that one set that might not ever drop.

The two hardest factions will be the Keepers of Time and Sha'tar. The Sha'tar can be sort-of gimmicked by doing rep turn-ins for the Aldor or Scryers, and then running Tempest Keep dungeons. The Keepers of Time you can only get by running Old Hillsbrad and Black Morass.

If you run Tempest Keep on heroic mode, keep an eye out for the Sun Eater (and yes, I'm too lazy to link it) which is a wonderfully magical- looking weapon.

You don't really need to bother with getting the legs since you can't see them under the robe.

Not fond of the chunky gloves? Try Guanti dell'Intuito Arcano They're the same pattern as the Evoker's gloves, with a slender, fingerless cut and turned-down tops. There are also a straight and narrow gloves if the Frenzyheart like you. Guanti Cremisi Infangati

Accessorize!

I find that Abbraccio di Dory complements the purple tones quite nicely, and a belt like Fascia del Fuoco Stellare blends in well.

As for a staff, I am torn between one of the glowing pinky-red pvp sticks, such as Bastone da Guerra del Gladiatore Vendicativo, and something like Bastone del Redentore from SMV.

Haven't had much luck settling on a 1h/OH combination that I think complements the set well, though so any suggestions there are welcome.
