Apart from the purple/red recolour, there is also three blacksmith-made blue/lavender Pettorale Corazzato della Guardia dei Ghiacci, Elmo della Guardia dei Ghiacci and Gambiere della Guardia dei Ghiacci.

There are two complete recolors of this set: a red/purple one from Outland instances, and the now-removed High Warlord's Aegis.

There are also several fragmented sets:

Ice-blue: helm, chest, pants
Bright green/brown: bracers, belt, gloves. Originally plate gear from Karazhan resembled this set, but it was changed.

Also the best cloak I have found so far that is even better than the one that drops off of Rag is this from Kara!

I like how it has more of a gilded gold trim rather than the furry look that is on the Rag cloak mentioned above.

For what it's worth, the Theramore Tabard from the pre-Mists version of the Theramore's Fall scenario looks brilliant with this set. Remember, though, that this tabard is a Feat of Strength, so run the scenario now or miss out!

Currently using this set but with T6 helm and shoulders(may beT5 not sure) with talon of azara, cloak of swift reprieve, and light-bearer faith shield.

I Love this Hammer for this set, Sulfuras, Pugno di Ragnaros . Keeps a good color scheme, and stands out enough to actually add to the set.

The pattern drops in Black Temple and you must be a blacksmith in order to make and use these.

Lo and behold, one of my first transmog sets and the one that has earned my Tauren paladin such wonderful nicknames as "Sunny", "Bananadin", and my personal favorite "Scrambulled Egg" x3. It definitely draws a lot of smiles and chuckles from many players I group with.

At the moment, I'm using Heaven's Light on my main-hand weapon, Khan's Buckler for my shield, and an Ornate Cloak for my back. With all the yellow and white highlights meshed together I'm never too difficult to spot!

Since Cintura dell'Araldo della Legge is a trash mob drop...if anyone wants to find an acceptable replacement belt for this set, you can use Cinturone dell'Alba. This is a BS made belt, and its recipe requires Honored with Alba d'Argento. It can be purchased from Quartiermastro d'Argento Hasana, Quartiermastro d'Argento Brillo , or Quartiermastro Miranda Armarotta. ^_^

I've never liked the look of the helm or shoulders, but Lawbringer is one of the few tier sets that actually scream "paladin". Lawbringer, Judgement, Lightbringer, Justicar, maybe Turalyon's, and Radiant Glory, if they would tone down the laughably large helmet.

Lawbringer Armor

Lawbringer is the Paladin Tier 1 choice, obtainable from raiding Molten Core, a Level 60 40-Man raid.
It is a 8 Piece Set, all of the pieces are obtained from the Molten Core raid which requires your toon to be level 50 to zone in.

The entirety of Molten Core is very easy to solo on a level 90 Paladin, and the drops are quite frequent. Although only being able to run the instance once per week slows down the collection period, it shouldn't take very long to get the whole set with repeated runs.

The Lawbringer set is a Golden coloured set, with very large angular contraptions jutting off of the shoulders and headpiece (Infamously referred to as "Banana" shoulders). Its a somewhat popular set, if not just for its nostalgic value as the first real Paladin tier. It definitely suits a Holy Paladin the most, with its bright gold reflecting quite well with the overall feel of the healing class, but its not like it doesn't work well with Protection or Retribution.

As of 5.4.2, I found out that Essenza Incapsulata di Immerseus fits pretty well in this set (the only color that is not part of the overall scheme is the green in it). You may also find yourself using it as a BiS. The Normal/Flex version is the only fitting one - although the Heroic one (Essenza Incapsulata di Immerseus) may even fit the red/purple version of this set.

Insegna del Loto Dorato Looks amazing with this set! I also substituted Copricapo della Gloria for the helm. It's not as yellow, but is nice for a minimalistic helm look.

Also, Ascia da Battaglia Fantasmatica Looks amazing with this set.

The new paladin tier shoulder armor looks good as well:
Spallacci Corazzati dei Geyser Zampillanti drops off Dark shaman in flex and normal mode for this color. Or get the shoulder token from Siegecrafter blackfuse.

If you're looking for a good Two-Handed weapon to bring all this gold together at level 90 transmog, I would suggest Lama della Runa Tonante or http://www.wowhead.com/item=87176. The heroic version brings some more gold to the set and adds some contrast as well.

On my Holy Paladin, I found Mantello dell'Inganno Meditato fit pretty well for my cloak. While the purple-pinkish gems stand out a bit, I thought it was a nice contrast to the yellow. For my weapon, since I'm a huge fan of axes, Mezzaluna Cremisi di Korven was sitting around and I thought it fit really well, not only in its simplicity but the gold crystals and the off-tone grey isn't too off from the white of the set--plus it's a solid match to Scudo Guardia Solare.
