This set is so beautiful in its apparent simplicity.
Also really good for any Blood Elf mage, since the name of the set and its colours as well are obviously inspired by the Magisters of Silvermoon.

These items are to make their return with Patch 4.3 along with the newly revamped Darkmoon Faire, being currently unavailable in-game.

While the items themselves are no longer obtainable, you can still transmog your gear to look like this set through the Darkmoon Faire. Barum will sell you pieces of the Replica Magister's set, which are statless but nonetheless especially meant to be used for transmogrification.

Best part? They're BoE, so you can use alts to farm the tickets you need to buy the pieces with, or even find them on the AH/Trade Channel if you're lucky.

I've found that Bastone di Jordan or Gran Bastone di Jordan go quite well with this set.

Personally, I think Mantello Titanico della Vittoria looks great with this. Only cloak I could find that properly matches the red, and it's just 280 honor when your faction has WG.

Edit: Also, if you're not grinding any rep at the moment, Insegna del Kirin Tor looks great, too.

Head, Shoulders, Legs, Chest is 75 Tickets per piece. 75x4=300 Tickets for these four.
Waist, Wrist, Boots, Gloves is 55 per piece. 55x4= 220 Tickets for these four.
Total= 520 tickets for the full set.

Alright lets say that you are doing all 5 dailies every day for 7 days (Nice tip: Darkmoon Fair Begins at 00:01 Realm Time , and the daily quests reset at 3 A.M. or 4 A.M. not sure, which means if you do the quests in 00:01 on Sunday the quests will reset and you will be able to do them again which means 8 days of dailies rather than 7)
So it is 5x7= 35 tickets from dailies only, or 5x8= 40 if you do the quests at 00:01.
Quest items: Remember they reset every month, so if you gather and complete all the quest items you will get:
Diario dell'Avventuriero Caduto - 5 Tickets
Grimorio Misterioso - 10 Tickets
Stendardo del Caduto - 5 Tickets
Piastrina Depredata - 5 Tickets
Uovo Mostruoso - 10 Tickets
Trattato sulla Strategia - 15 Tickets
Arma Decorata - 10 Tickets
Rune dell'Indovino - 10 Tickets
Cristallo Infuso - 10 Tickets
Total = 80
Completing the dailies and items quests should bring you around 115 Tickets per month or 120 if you camp them at midnight.
Which means that you would need around 4-5 months to complete the full set!

Btw since the items are boe feel free to farm them on any eligible alts, best choice imo is a 85lvl one or buy them off AH for a reasonable price

If you're like me and want a blood elf looking staff that half way goes with this transmog, Bastone del Sole looks good with it or, if you don't want to do all of the Ghostlands quests to get that one, this works just as well Bastone Dorato dei Sin'dorei

Great set from vanilla. Best cloak for it is Mantello del Grande Vudù. Looks like it was made for this. Definitely don't need to get the pants or bracers from the set.

If you find the hair clipping through the headpiece to be annoying, and don't mind "floating" head pieces, then the alliance version of Copricapo di Seta del Gladiatore Temerario from Legion is a good alternative for this set. Hordes can use heroic Cappuccio del Custode della Rocca della Notte but the shade of gold is a tiny bit off
