I would have to disagree. First, Sunreaver Tabard is only available to Horde. Haunt of Flies doesn't in my opinion, go with the set. And though the swords look nice, they're on fire, while the set itself has more of a faint lava glow. I think the axe off of Heroic Shannox, Grandascia del Rubateschi, looks much better with this set, which will only work if you are transmogging it to another 2h axe, as most DK tanks will be at current content (Yor'sahj axe). Am still looking for a matching cape if anyone has a suggestion.

If you want to farm this with little trouble:

Do weekly Throne of the Four Winds HC runs with pugs, it's easy now, people do Al'akir for a chance to win the mount, just make sure to tell people that the DK tier and essence are reserved for you. In the first encounter, you'll need to have the majority start on the plant platform, 1 dps/tank and 1 heal start on the ice, and 1 start on the wind and zerg down the bosses one by one, It should be done in about 2 minutes. As for Big Al, have at least a tank and a heal and have everyone separated, use some mitigation in the first phase, avoid tornadoes and the rest is easy.

Get at least 2 friends to do Magmaw HC, the more the better, if you are 3 people, you will have to be a healer, dps, and tank. Just kill the skeletons asap and avoid the fire. Have the heal and dps chain Magmaw up and give it the beating of its life. With at least 3 well equipped dps, assuming 1 is plate (you), you won't need a tank, the boss dies in 1 round and the healer won't suffer that much. This boss can be soloed as blood if you're skilled and equipped well but it's a pain in the ass to do.

Good luck farming one of the most awesome DK sets. :P

This is a resource that shows you every boss soloable by a DK.

Every heroic T11 boss is soloable, aside from Heroic Conclave (though normal is doable). Many bosses like Omnotron or Magmaw are soloable with little or no trouble at all, and are even doable on 25-man.

The artistic style of this Magma Plated Battlearmor set appears to be inspired by Deathwing's armor plates, which are made by Adamantine steel plates (Day of the Dragon, Chapter 1). Adamantine or Adamantium is a metal in classical mythology, in modern times popularized by J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings. It is said to be as superplastic as forged steel, but also very hard like diamond.

Medieval Near East metallurgists might have invented nanowire- and carbon-nanotubes-reinforced steel as early as the 9th or 10th century A.D. (Reibold, Paufler, Levin, Kochmann, Pätzke, Meyer. Nature. 444 (7117): 286. 2006), which would have physical properties similar to Adamantine in a few ways.

The ultra-hard and labor-intensive Adamantine is not easy to work with. In World of Warcraft, Deathwing's armor plates are made by Goblins blacksmiths. They might have used Ragnaros's fire magic when making the Adamantine, resulting in this magma-infused look. In Legion's High Mountain quest La sfida ad Alamorte, Igrul says that "No weapon of mortal make can penetrate these metal plates", which leads them to search for the Martello di Khaz'goroth, a titan-made relic and one of the Pillars of Creation with the titanic power that can shatter Adamantine.
