I love this robe and am putting together a set around it, but with a few alterations.

Shoulders: Mantle of Roaring Flames (H) - Drops from Atramedes (heroic). This is the nightmare part of the set to get but looks utterly awesome. The Mantle of Elven Kings (trash drop in Tempest Keep) also works well, if a bit less flashy.

Hands: Gauntlets of the Sun King -- Drops from Kael'thas in Tempest Keep. (Not that hard to get considering people are always farming him for the phoenix mount. Just tag along with one of their groups.)

Belt: Veteran's Dreadweave Belt (sold on the Isle of Quen'Danas for justice points)

Head: The Hexxer's Mask (from Jin'do in Zul'Gurub).

Staff: There are several options here. The most awesome possibility is the Ruthless Gladiator's Battle (or Energy) Staff (elite version), but that requires a 2200 rating in 3v3/5v5/rated battlegrounds. G'luck with that one. The Staff of Scarlet Pain (zone drop in Firelands) looks great, but will be quite expensive until Mists of Pandaria. There are also several new staves from Dragon Soul that would look good with this set, but those will require raiding (perhaps on heroic mode). The budget staff for the set is the Bloodfire Greatstaff which drops from Aeonus in the Black Morass. Use that one until something better comes along.

I have the entire set excluding the gloves :( was searching for weapons and happened upon a few to add to the above list!

Off-Hand:

The off-hand I liked most was the "Bacchetta Inceneritrice" drops from Ignis the Furnace Master on 10 man Normal, this is the closest matching item out of everything in this list in my opinion.

Dagger:

The dagger that I chose for this set is the "Lama Incantata del Gladiatore Brutale", it has the orange of the armor and also some gray that is pretty close to if not spot on with the armor too.
Another option is the "Cuoraguzzo" from High Astromancer Solarian in The Eye. It has red and purple on it that match the gloves.
*NEW* "Malchazeen" Drops from Prince Malchezaar in Karazhan. adding to favorites :)
Mace:

Can't always rely on having a dagger though, so I went in search of a mace or two... or three! Here's where things got hairy, I didnt know which one went the best so I picked them all. First, "Martellaccio del Gladiatore Brutale" same kind of look as the Spellblade but with a red that also matches the armor.
Second, "Flusso del Nathrezim" from Supremus in Black Temple. The color and glow go pretty well with this armor it's kind of a mix of the orange and the red at different angles.
Third, "Verga del Re del Sole" from Kael' Thas in The Eye. This is a little out of the trend from all of the weapons I have noted earlier. It has no orange or red. As a matter of fact it's purple, I noticed that the gloves have the only bit of purple in the entire set to I found something that complements them!

Staves:

Above there were already a couple of staffs noted so I didn't search too hard but I did find one that I liked a little more than the staffs previously mentioned. "Luce Morente" from 25 man Blood Queen Lana'thel matches almost perfectly with the orange on the armor and also it has runes on the front that look the exact same as the runes on the cuffs of the gloves!

These are the weapons that I am currently farming for, my personal favorites being the "Igniter Rod" and the Brutal Gladiators Spellblade/Heartrazor!

I've been using Guanti della Vedova as a decent colour replacement to Guanti del Guardiano della Morte. Though I'm a real stickler for having the complete set, I can't abide that contrasting, purple failure.

Also, Scia di Braci looks rather nice as an easily accessible wand, that compliments the set well.

Just throwing it out there...

If you're looking for a GREAT cape to go with this set, I really like Cappa della Furia Scarlatta Recuperata . It's easy to get with 500JP and fits this outfit perfectly!

Also, if you need a staff head out to Magister's Terrace and try on the Bacchetta della Luce Fiammeggiante (Heroic Vex) or Bastone Focalizzato del Sole Infuso (Reg Kael) . Both are super easy to get, and match very well.

For cloak i really liked Travestimento del Kumiho, fits the set really well and is only 347 JP in Dalaran. For an Off-Hand weapon i really like Sigillo di Lingua di Fuoco, also fits really well and costs only 130 JP in Shattrath.

I am currently using this set, except for the gloves... I went with Guanti della Vedova. If you are using a one-handed sword and off-hand I recommend Fendicarne del Gladiatore Vendicativo & Feticcio degli Dei Primordiali. They both go great with this set!

I've just started collecting this set for transmog. So far I have the helm, robes, shoulders, and belt. I am using the Guanti di Telainfausta instead of the others, as I think they look better with the rest of the set. I'm also using Travestimento del Kumiho but am not convinced about how it works with the rest of the set.

I'm using this set on an old retired mage of mine and started looking at matching weapons. Being able to use 1H swords I found the perfect match for this set:

Brutal Gladiator's Quickblade or Brutal Gladiator's Slicer

My only concern is they are HUGE on a human female mage, but the colors and design are spot on. This sword should look really good w/ some of the larger modeled races no problem.

Plan on working on this for my lock. First choice for a staff is Zhar'doom, Granbastone del Divoratore and second is Bastone della Fiamma dell'Ombra.
If I have to go with a one hand and off hand combo not sure about those yet. Still looking around but Demolitrice is on my list.
Edit: As an off hand if you still have it or can do the quests Globo del Maestro Ammazzadraghi is not too bad a match. The one I have seems more red than the screen shots, so not sure if this has changed skins/looks in some patch.

If you don't quite like the robe look, you can try Demonweave Raiment for the chest. The primary red coloring is a near match to rest of the set and the silver accents match the boots well.

I like to use for my gloves Guanti dell'Incantatore more than what is suggested above though.

i like Staff of the Hale Magefire as a weapon... it might not match the red/orange theme everyone is going for but it still matches the grayish outline of the set and the whole fel fire theme.

also, the staff functions as a torch when you equip it. actually get a lit up area around your character.

Thought I had found a great staff for this set, given the green glow and reddish-orange lion head on Bastone delle Furie Ferine, but the lower half of the staff doesn't match so well. The search continues...

The first three days I believe I had everything but the Gloves and the Helm, it's about 8 days now and I still don't have either of them, so expect to do this over a week or so. Good luck! Also if you're trying to get the Gloves every day like me right across the instance (go straight east into the other instance) and that is where Redini del Signore dei Corvi drops so I suggest doing that right after or before you attempt gloves.
Guanti della Creazione is pretty good if you have Wrist already.

Great sword choices cuz my mage has a sword right now. I found in Kara Protettrice del Re Lamascaglia These both are pretty big in size and King's Defender is a bit bigger and Spiteblade has some animation and some orange to it. So whatever you get lucky dropping transmog it.

If you cant get the gloves for the set a good alternative is the Hands of the sun out of heroic Underbog from the Hunter boss! :D

The Lava Burn Gloves fit this set perfectly in my opinion.

Much better than the purple ones at least.

G'eras in Shattrath sells some cloth gear that works amazingly well with this set! I actually left the gloves and shoes out... the aforementioned vendor items looked nicer. Cheers!
