An alternative to the boots are Scarpe di Pelle di Vilcinghiale which is a reward from the quest chain: Il Cifrario della Dannazione: terzo frammento recuperato. Unlike the Stivali del Camminatore Silente these ones do not fold over below the knee, they stay against the leg.

Any one looking for a cloak I highly suggest either Skin of Stone or Shade of Death

do not think about taking a quick route and completing the hyjal chain quest! The cloak is short, the ones listed are long.

For the gloves you can also use Tirapugni dell'Annientamento del Curaterra from the quest Fuga dalla Cisterna dei Malaspira in Shadowmoon Valley if you have not done this in the past obviously.

My focus was finding matching shoulders, therefore some shoulders listed here may be harder to obtain than others, they are listed in no particular order. I recommend browsing the 'same model as' tab on a shoulder you like in order to find the most easily accessible shoulder of your choice.

Personally I prefer Paraspalle della Falce Ossuta del Valore the most.

Anyone have a recommendation for alternative to Gambiere a Scaglie di Mennu I can't get them to drop after almost 2 solid months of killing Mennu on heroic every day. I really don't feel like farming them every day anymore and would like to use the rest of the set if there is any other decent matches. thanks!

Spalletti Dorati del Sole have got to be some of the ugliest shoulders I have ever seen. Paraspalle della Falce Ossuta del Valore is great for rogues, but I am having a hard time finding one for my druid.

EDIT: Here is one option for druids: Spalletti dell'Inseguitore del Vespro - it is gold and navy blue, but I would take the blue over those lightbulb shoulders anyday.

This is simply an amazing set. It was hard for me to find a set that looks even half-way decent on a female dwarf. I found it! I posted a screenshot (with four different captures) on the site, if you want to see it.

Here is what I'm wearing for my set:
Head- Mask of the Deceiver
Shoulder- Sun-Gilded Shouldercaps
Cloak- Jazeraint Coak
Chest- Toughened Leather Armor
Tabard- Tabard of the Shattered Sun
Gloves- Predatory Gloves
Belt- Belt of the Raven Lord
Pants- Mennu's Scaled Leggings
Boots- Silent-Strider Kneeboots

For the chest piece, I just couldn't seem to get Chestguard of the Prowler to drop! So I broke down and checked the in-game loot journal. It wasn't there. I also checked Atlasloot. It wasn't there either, unless I searched for it specifically in the search bar. I'm waiting for a GM response, because that just doesn't seem right. So in place of that chest piece, I roamed the auction house and found a very suitable substitution. Toughened Leather Armor is just a shade or two darker (but it still matches the undertones of the pants and helmet), but with the Tabard on, you can't even tell the difference. And it's made very inexpensively by leatherworkers if you don't want to fork over the extra few gold to get it in the AH.

For the cloak, there really weren't that many options. The yellows/golds were either too bright or too dark, or even close to brown. Sometimes the blacks were kind of blue-ish. This cloak is the best one I could find. Jazeraint Cloak is a nice, mellow yellow with a black patterened trim. It pairs almost perfectly with this set, in my opinion. They also have a split-back cloak of the same color/trim. If you don't like short cloaks, they have a long version as well.

As a secondary cloak, I chose Ash Feather Cloak. The yellow is nice and soft and it adds a touch of brown for contrast with the undertones of the set itself.

Now, for the daggers, I pretty much had it down to three choices. I ended up picking the SI:7 Special Issue Dagger, but my secondary is either Unkeeper Blade or Blade of Serration.

If you don't have daggers, here are some other 1H choices I have for backup transmogs:

Teebu's Blazing Longsword (I like how it lights up the armor!)
Maladath, Runed Blade of the Black Flight
Mrgl Blade
The Willbreaker (Sorry, MH only)
Blade of Savagery (I'm kind of on the fence with this one)

None yet. I'll add some if I find any that look half-way decent with the set. Please feel free to comment with some of your suggestions!

There were a few tabards I liked, and a lot I didn't like. The Tabard of the Shattered Sun was the best one, by a long shot. All of the other ones that I liked were code redemptions from the TCG. It's so easy to get rep for the Shattered Sun Offensive, though, that choosing another tabard would just be silly! An 85 should be able to clear normal Magister's Terrace in 15 minutes at the most, and that's with entry level 85 gear, non heroics. I clear it in about 5-7 minutes, depending on crits with FoK at a 396 iLvl. Plus, the dailies for just the island give over 2k rep per day, I believe, and they take about 30 minutes to do all of them.

All-in-all, this set is worth the struggle for a few of the pieces that are hard to get! But believe it or not, the piece that took me the most runs through an instance was the shoulder piece. It took a total of 23 runs on Black Morass (normal difficulty).

These works just as good as the pants dropping in Heroic Slave pens for those who are unlucky or lazy. Costs 770 JP from Arcanist Firael (A) in Dalaran.

Coprispalle dei Totem Runico is my favorite choice for alternative shoulders thus far (for non-Rogue-locked pieces, anyway); the main color seems very close. Probably best when paired with something in the color range of Bastone del Redentore to complement the glowing purple effect if you're a 2h monk/druid. I've been on the lookout for other main-body pieces with a suitable gold-purple combo to tie it in better, but haven't found much.

I found Mantello da Guerra di Scaglie Ferrose is a great fit with the set, the color matches perfectly with the black from the headpiece.
Also if the gloves won't drop you can go with Guanti di Cuoio Temprato

I find the Lama dell'Erudizione Magica as dw with this set and using the Mantello del Conforto di Zoe for a cloak looks extremely good. Only sad part is that as a monk, you lose the whole awesome light in your front when actually playing.

For those looking for a good matching shoulder, I recommend Coprispalle dei Totem Runico.
Rogues using daggers can use Lama Solare Rovente since in Patch 5.4 ~~PTR~~ it ~~shows as~~ is One-Hand!

This is one of the few, somewhat unique (and totally unused, by other players) sets that I could find for my Belf Brewmaster. It is so difficult to find a decent transmog for your Monk right now, since you have to use other leather wearers' cast-offs. (And most druid gear is, IMHO, pretty terrible. I even created an April Fool's set out of old Druid gear)

I grabbed the following to further flavor my look:

• Guardaspalle della Resistenza Passiva - from Omnitron Defense System, in Heroic Blackwing Descent
• Mantello del Permagelo - from Heroic Throne of Four Winds
• Gioiello del Signore del Fuoco (to replace the helm) - from the Blizzard Store

It makes for a very, very cool "Fallen Angel" look!

I wanted to provide a recent example of being another person struggling to get the leggings to drop. I've killed Mennu about 20 times now and mainly receive a chainmail belt. Regardless the leggings never drop. My favorite compromise in the mean time are these legs I picked up on the AH:
