I recommend farming up Captain Sanders' Shirt to go under this. It's not a *perfect* match, but it works.

I'm going to start farming BRD to see if I can get any of these. Best trick I've found is to offer a free run-through to players who are able to get in and tell them to wait until you give the all clear, go round up the first section, kill, go round up the second section, kill, etc... Takes about 20 minutes or so and when you're done you have earned about 100g just from them looting and if you tell them that you want all of the greens you can even make a few bucks selling other Transmog sets on the AH.

I did this with a few guildies who were of the right level and in the course of an hour we ran through 2x and earned roughly 21k. So far, THIS is the best way to make gold that I've found.

Also, in those two runs, we got two pieces of this suit. I figure if I run this 10x I should have a full suite.

Anyone know boots with a similar appearance but a thicker model? Or at least a close match? I love this set but hate the skin-tight boots.

I was gonna try for a samurai look on my warrior in Mists. Add to this set DW Spadone Arcaico plus Camicia di Lana Grigia, replace chest with Gloria del Difensore (optional, I think it looks really cool), and then Elmo Pesante della Terra Desolata for your kabuto-style helm, which will be available in Mists. Think I'm gonna set cloak off. Hope you guys like it :)

My absolute favorite transmog plate set, and after 3 months of constant AH farming, it is finally mine!
I used Camicia di Lana Grigia and the cool Ascia da Battaglia Spinosa in addition to the set. Works perfect IMO

the set goes really well with quel delar sword from batterd hilt quest line but i dont like the head so i dont show it and i havent found a cape :S i found that steel plate helm is nice for it but not an exact color match :S

I accidentally came across a great cloak for this set http://www.wowhead.com/item=109928&bonus=518#same-model-as After I'd mogged my gear I was looking for a suitable cloak when I realised I was wearing, imo, something that already went with it

If you're looking cheap good looking xmog armor this is 100% the way to go. Not only does it look very simple and cool but if you disable cloak and helm it looks alot better. This armor set goes great with any back - sheathed sword

The Alabaster Plate Vambraces do not show when also wearing the Alabaster Plate Gauntlets so are not necessary if you plan on transmogging the Alabaster Plate set.
