This set uses the green (officially "Gray") version of the "Horde B2 Plate" artwork, one of a number of mail sets that use plate artwork. It forms a complete six-piece set of the art.

Like many older sets, there's no artwork for the helm or shoulders. None was ever created. While there are "Protector" pieces for the head and shoulders, they use artwork from other sources and so aren't listed here. Just pick whatever you think fits as there are no pieces designed to match.

There are three other colours of this set in the artwork database, but sadly none of the others are available in the game as sets. There's only two chests for the bright magenta (officially "Red") set: Pettorale Corazzato del Venditore di Morte and Pettorale Corazzato del Venditore di Morte del Campione. A full set of this would certainly have stood out, to say the least.

The remaining two colours don't seem to have any pieces in the game at all: "Brass" is actually kind of orange with a dull magenta tone over it, and "Gold" is actually bright green-yellow.

The missing shoulder item is Spalline del Protettore. Despite not fitting perfectly as mentioned above, they are close enough in color scheme.

You should defnitely try the Guardaspalle del Protettorato to match this set! And a Camicia di Lino Marrone for that final touch. ;)

The protector pieces have no recorded drop outside Kalimdor and its dungeons. And should therefore be classified as a continent drop

Not a very widely used term, but some uncommon or better random drops are actually restricted by continent.

Also the pieces have no recorded drop from chests or lockboxes. In or outside Kalimdor.

Currently the items required for the Protector Mail are fairly valuable with two exceptions. The first exception being Pettorale Corazzato del Protettore which is cheaper due to being interchangeable with Corazza Foderata della Guglia Tempestosa. And the second exception being Bracciali Foderati del Protettore most likely due to a lack of interest for bracers, it should be noted though that the bracers are very much visible on the set unlike other sets where they are sometimes covered by the gloves.

Also note the Spalline del Protettore part of Felstone Mail (Recolor) which also is valuable due to belonging to another moderately popular transmog set.

Due to the shared name, armor type, loot type and item level I feel it's appropriate to group together all protector items even if some doesn't belong in the transmog set.
