While they cannot be used for transmogrification, the Paraspalle delle Legnate appear to fit the Mail Combat armour set nicely and could be used as an alternative. Unfortunately, it is rumoured that these shoulders can only be obtained through trading other players due to the removal of Haren Zoccolo Agile with Cataclysm's arrival.

Just for fun, I went to Icy Veins to check out the transmog gear to see what shoulders would go with this set. I found five that would go well. Three on the small side and two on the large side for those who like the 80s look (lol).

This is what I came up with.

In light of droprates Uldaman is your choise in case your server is like mine and Mail Combat chest and pants are extremely rarely in AH and if they are they are for insane price.

More accurately it's the first corridors of Uldaman that you want to run. From beginning of the dungeon to Ironaya, pulling all troggs from right side as you go and come back along left side. The troggs will follow you no matter how far you manage to get from them so doing the full circle, returning back to beginning and only then killing them all in one go is possible.

During 15 mins of farming I managed to fill 30 bagslots with tradegoods (greens, silk cloth, mageweave) yet the pieces elude me. Even if you hate farming against impossible odds a daily run at Uldaman will be a breeze. On other hand if you want to grind till they drop, the mobs outside the dungeon do drop the chest and pants as well so you can grind till you drop.

For shoulder, I use Paraspalle di Scaglie Brillanti, since they match the set better than the Guardaspalle di Maglia da Combattimento.

The bracers do show somewhat when wearing the gloves, so may be necessary for completing the look of this set for transmog, depending on the race/sex of your character and how picky you are.
