I really wish there were a way to get this in-game without boosting. I love this set it's so on-the-mark huntery.

I wish they would update the ones who boosted before this set went on since nobody told us at the time we could boost that it was an option to get these items if boosted after the models were in, don't wanna wait for garrisons to get the set.

And major booo and hissss to blizzard for not making the invisible shoulders transmoggable on hunters and monks, why the hell didn't they give us new shoulder models to mog like the other classes and left us with an incomplete set.... not fair

Of course, the only cloak you should be using with this set is Mantello Recuperato di Frostheim. Also, although this doesn't help with the whole invisible shoulders transmog thing, the 483 version of the set is identical to Guardaspalle della Montagna, which still works pretty well with the set IMHO.

As of a recent hotfix, this set is now 'Rare' blue, though the budget is still the same. It is also disenchantable now. The shoulders, however, still do not have a graphic. I suspect this is due to a bug, rather than an intentional action on Blizzard's part, however.

I wish we could get this set in different colours than green/brown. It looks too leathery for my tastes and I can't find shoulders I like that go with this set.

The helmet, oh god don't get me started on the helmet. It would never look good on my pandaren hunter.
Once again I feel as if hunters always get shafted. But kudos to Blizz for making good on their plans of granting us the character creator sets.

There are also shoulders for this set (you can get those from salvage) and it seems for now the have invisible mdoel and cant be transmoged

This set is the very similar to/based on the Montanaro di Forgiardente set, which wasn't previously available to players. Needless to say, looks great on Dwarves.

For anyone interested, these drop like candy from the Grossa Cassa di Riciclaggio (Salvage yard level 3 box). I get one piece with almost every box, around 5 per day. They are soulbound, unlike the many random greens that drop from these boxes. Not sure what is with the abundant drop rate, but it would be nice for other tmog sets to be dropping as well.

Guardaspalle dell'Orso Berserker & Spallacci Foderati Macchiati are decent (but not perfect) shoulders for this set with Guardaspalle dell'Orso Berserker being the nicer match IMO.

Edit: Elmo della Grazia Lupesca is a nice substitute helm if like me you are not fond of face cage helmets.

I personally find the Stormforged Shoulders to be a good fit. The brown seems to match the boots/gloves and it has a huntsman style feel. Unfortunately, on my dwarf they cover up the green in the chest a bit more than I would like.

Going over the shoulder suggestions, I have to vote Yea on Guardaspalle dell'Orso Berserker, Spallacci dei Forgiatuono, and Paraspalle Inanellati dei Profanatori. The Defilers Pauldrons are a little low-res textured but they have lots of spikes.

Paraspalle di Scaglie Brillanti gets a conditional yes but only on character models where they appear small enough; they have a low-res texture that matches really well but they draw the eye too much on my default tauren/orc female. I saw them on a human male model on reddit where they looked much better since they're proportionally smaller in size.

I was poking around on my semi random collection of 'items that might be interesting looking so i stored them'. I found that the Guardaspalle di Scaglia Mattutina actually come very close to the coloration of the Trailseeker Helm. They're not huge shoulders tho they do seem to be floating out a bit from the (very slim) shoulders of my draenei hunter. Whether or not you're using the face-cage helm look, the fact that the colors match/blend means (to me) they're an acceptable substitute shoulder for xmog.

ETA: Editing the comment rather than deleting it. The 'spikes' are the ears and eyebrows. Elves, your facial appendages cut metal!

I was just looking at the picture, which came up as the blood elf male. In my viewer, the helm has spikes on it. The in game dressing room shows no spikes, nor does the draenei female on the screenshot viewer here. I thought it was an artifact of maybe having a bow on the back, but the picture is generated by the system and wouldn't have that. Is the hellm really different on blood elf males and females, or is something wrong with my browser (or the image)?

Since Blizzard didn't see fit to include a "Trailseeker Bow" (the one visible on the character creation screens for human, night elf, blood elf and troll hunters) as an alternate to the Archibugio dello Scopritore, here's a list of the bows with the same model/skin:

Something slightly different, if you want to keep your shoulders green like I did, try Paraspalle Coercitivi. The color is just slightly off, but I got used to it after a couple minutes :)

Ignoring any slight color differences (my colorblindness is annoying,) I recommend Spallacci di Bronzo Grezzo for shoulders. The seem to fit the texture decently and aren't TOO intrusive.

As of this post the trailseeker set is what Hunters are given for the boost to level 100. The set has greens with an ilevel of 640.

Coprispalle degli Zampalorda, fits with the set really well.

I didn't like the model that they use at first, but I've grown to like them now.

For female toons who like the set but don't like the bare midriff, the Boomshirt solves this perfectly - though it can take quite a bit of grinding/brawling to get it. (seen here)

Just a random note, Paraspalle Inanellati dei Profanatori fits rather well with full trailseeker set and maybe Benda per Occhio del Malfattore instead of the standard helm

the trailseeker set is worn by the hunter character that you can make by creating an evaluation character. the item level will be higher then the one currently shown on wowhead.

Why does everyone keep commenting about how there are no shoulders or what shoulders they think would fit this?

This is the Ironforge Mountaineer Outfit. It doesn't have any shoulders and was never supposed to have any, simply because they're covered by a tremendously oversized green cloak. You were never supposed to wear pauldrons with this. Would you wear pauldrons on top of a piece of clothing you would take off once you go inside? Probably not.

While this Transmog Set was first introduced for the WoD Salvage Yard, it has since been used for the BfA pre-expansion event (the Wildguard items) but the easiest way to unlock this set is to create a Class Trial Hunter character.
Simply log into that character once, open the Scrigno dell'Avventuriero to also unlock the weapon appearances. You can then delete this character.
If you're using addons at all, I suggest going to a realm where you don't have characters yet, and disable all addons after creating the character, before logging in.
You can do this for all classes, obviously, for the sets mentioned in arabus80's comment.
