The total set is purchasable for a total of 8,000 gold when the player builds a Trading Post (Level 2) and is also Revered with Sha'tari Defense.

Edit: I am not sure if being revered changes the price for each piece, which means it may be cheaper than 8,000 gold.

Is this set bound to a specific character or is it account bound? I could have sworn I read it was BoA somewhere but looking at the items now it appears to be BoP...

Curiously, despite this being called the Sha'tari Defense Plate, and the associated faction (Protettori Sha'tari) requiring you to kill hundreds of mobs in Shattrath City, the Pacificatore Sha'tari in Shattrath City actually wear a purple variation of this armour. This blue version is worn by the Difensore di Karabor at the Temple of Karabor in Shadowmoon Valley.

The one-handed mace they wield doesn't seem to be available at the moment, but others might prove acceptable alternatives, such as: the Scettro dell'Anima Luminosa, the Scettro di Oshu'gun or the Mazza del Vuoto di Oshu'gun. The Difensore di Karabor seems to combine it with a shield that looks like an Scudo Aquilone Adamantino. That model is from The Burning Crusade, and the Scudo del Destino Luminoso seems to be a more recent variation on the theme. They do not wear a cloak, but the Pacificatore Sha'tari in Shattrath wear a short version of the Mantello della Furia Fatua.

I think Hammer of the Soulbinder looks best with this set, but it's only available from normal Auchindoun which can't be queued for at 100.

OK, so after looking at a lot of weapons, I've currently landed on Mannaia del Gladiatore Infuriato. The color-scheme looks pretty spot on and they sheath on your back. Which is nice. There are some flames on the weapon, but I honestly just think it goes well with the gold on the set. Spira di Cristallo di Karabor also looks quite nice, but I found it to be just a bit too much blue.

Curiously, the hands don't have the "Plate" tag and are instead classified as cosmetic. This may indicate that the entire set was meant to be used for all armour types, but they forgot it. Somehow.

As a Retribution Paladin I am using Spadone del Profeta with Illusione: Torrente di Potere.

The sword is only available to those who have completed the Argent Tournament and gained Champion rank.

This sword matches this set VERY well. Its an Agi pvp sword so make sure when you go to the pvp vendor you check that your item filter is set to All and not your class or you wont see it.

Out of all the wonderful plate sets out there in the wide world of Warcraft, I just don't see anyone using this outside of esoteric RP. It's hideous, on par with the mail and leather sets in the Bunker.
