As a Paladin Tank, I decided to lay my hands on the Silent Crusader from Trash in Naxx 25.
It looks beast with the tabard of the lightbringer and silent crusader.
Now I just need to find a shield that has the same color scheme as the weapon and armor. xD

Mind you, I do not have this set yet, sadly.

It's just a dream of mine to have it with those items. :P

All great suggestions for the offset pieces. For 2H, the Relentless Gladiator's Claymore matches almost perfectly, along with the RG tabard. For shield and sword I didn't look around too much, but the RG 1-hander and Wrathful Gladiator's Barrier is almost the same color scheme.

If you're a retribution paladin looking for a sword that matches this set then I would suggest Quel'Delar, Forza del Fedele, with the similar tones of yellow and the blue runes running down the middle it goes together very well and not to mention the glowing claw on the hilt that complements the shoulders.

Very good one-handed sword to go with this set. Maybe not as a tank to hack and slash but as a healer it is a rather good weapon to match.

As for the shield, it is not the best looking shield but I found the colours to be almost perfect.

If you're like me and you needed to find a cloak and tabard to go with this amazing looking armor set, then I'd recommend looking at the Mantello del Concilio di Ferro and the Insegna dei Venerabili Celestiali.

I honestly think that those with Quel'Delar, Astuzia delle Ombre and Gelo Eterno make a great set.

You can use this to view it in 3D.

Mantello Invernale della Sentinella matches really well with this set.
It has very similar color blue as well as having diamonds the same shape as the armor diamonds.

Best of all you can get it in Dalaran for the low price of 600 justice points.

Somewhat foolish question but does it matter at all if I don't transmog Polsiere Foderate del Guerriero Sacro? I'm am pretty much completely out of inventory and I've been trying to squeeze some extra space out void storage.

It doesn't appear to make a difference, but I thought that about the Manette del Giudizio and like a week later I noticed the weird band of skin that shows if you don't use them.

I am using this set with the tabard of august celestials, Bulwark of Algalon (25 man drop) , Silent crusader (1% trash drop from Naxx 25 man ) and am currently killing Al'akir for the Permafrost cape. I do aim to get my hands on the tabard of the Lighbringer, as i see it as a good fit. I personnaly dislike the helmet but i do wear a silver hair topknot look for my blood elf male paladin, as it has a light blue band holding the top up, as it matches the armor as well.

I reccommend Bulwark of Algalon as it features two light-blue glowing eyes and makes you look like a real holy warrior ;)
For retri, i reccommend either Archaeology Jin'rohk two hander, or Aesir's Edge from Ulduar.

I think the designers had this set in their minds when they finalized Gong-Lu, Forza di Xuen. Too bad that when we replace it, we won't be able to transmog back to it, unless they change the restrictions.

I just finished getting this achievement last night, what a rush.

It was the most rewarding thing i've done in this game, but also the most frustrating. The thing that makes getting 9/9 gold hard is personnel & scheduling issues. Of course you will have wipes as you learn the CM's but that is easily overcome. It's like memorizing a 10-20 minute dance that has little room for error.

I was lucky early on to find a tank & dps that i clicked well with and did every gold together. But we never had a steady 5 man roster which made things extremely difficult. Here are my tips after having spent 3 weeks to get this achieve:

General Tips

The most important thing you need to bring to a gold CM run is patience. If even 1 person in your group lacks patience it will drag your group down
Voice comm is critical and Skype > vent for challenge modes imo. You don't want another button to press.
Openraid is awesome for finding people to run with when you are starting out, (ideal would be guildies)
With alot of the CM's, ranged dps > melee dps. Personally i would recommend 1 melee dps max. It just makes some of the mechanics more punishing because of aoe dmg near tank or bosses that cannot be dps'ed easily by melee (Gate / SSB)
When pug'ing, you will come across alot of people that offer to come that are "multiple 9/9". Be careful with these people as they can be elitist / difficult to work with and will bail on you if you wipe too much. Instead look for people that at least have gold proving grounds or at least 1 gold CM. They are hungry and know their class.
When it comes to group composition: player performance > class utility. If you can get both - even better.
At the end of each run, always agree upon a date/time to meet for the next one (assuming you like your group)
Show up at the agreed upon date/time :)
The hardest pulls in CM are the trash. Well co-ordinated AOE stuns will save your healers mana and reduce your time.
If you die, never release
If you are going to use a speed boost with invisibility pots, be careful to pop speed boost before drinking so your group members don't hate you
Tanks should try to get a Corno da Battaglia

Some Holy Paladin specific tips:

Reforge for haste. Flask for intellect. You want big fast heals. Don't worry about spirit too much, you can use Ambra Ristoratrice after almost every pull
Talents: Speed of light / justice / EF / Clemency / Holy Avenger / Holy Prism
Glyphs: Blinding Light / Sac / FoL
Be prepared to use flash of light like it's TBC. LoD / HR are pretty weak in CM's.
Avoid stacking healing CD's where possible
Hand of Salv & Hand of Prot are great if your tank is having aggro issues on a large pull (i.e big monkey pull in SSB)
Hand of Sac on the tank whenever he's taking brutal dmg
Voice comm between you & your tank re: healing CD's is critical. If we're about to pull a nasty trash pack, and everything is on cooldown i tell him before the pull
Communicate with dps that have off heals to help (i.e shaman) when things get out of control
Make a macro for SSB last boss to switch to both your dps set AND change spec so you don't have to fiddle with the UI
Some bosses do very little damage, DPS when you can - every little bit helps.

Finally, in terms of CM relative healing difficulty here is what i thought (from hardest to easiest):

Stormstout Brewery - execution is not so hard, but timer is unforgiving. last boss mechanics are critical
Siege of Niuzau Temple - alot of raid aoe dmg in this one, most others are tank focused
Scarlet Monastery - insane trash pulls
Temple of the Jade Serpent
Shado Pan Monastery - bosses are particularly rough on healers
Scholomance
Scarlet Halls
Gate of the setting sun

Perhaps I put too much thought into this...

Shield: Scudo Guardia Solare (alliance) retains the primary blue color of the set but uses it as an accent. It then takes a more pure (rp: 'holy') color of Yellow and uses that as its primary which really stands out but still goes with the color scheme.

Sword: Xifeng, Lama Lunga del Guardiano Titanico (normal) to bring it all together. This takes the shield's primary Yellow at the tip and flows it back into the blue and bronze color scheme which dominates the rest of the gear set.

At first I was searching for a set that matched perfectly and when I found it I was underwhelmed. As a tank you want certain items to stick out to get attention. It might be a little RP of me but I think the shield should be the most distracting thing in your gear-set following your weapon while both still 'match' your setup.

I am sorry this is an Alliance only transmogrification because of the difference in shield color from the Horde version.

Shield - For those looking for a matching shield I do recommend either:
Deryan's Suggestion: Mastio del Gladiatore Cataclismico
askonse's Suggestion: Baluardo della Guardia Reale (which I used for the duration of Cata: DS)
New in 5.4: Scudo Torre Antico dei Mogu (heroic) Blends in perfectly with this set.

Weapon - For those looking for a matching 1h weapon:
New in 5.4: Scettro di Kardris (heroic) Matches fantastically with this set.

Note: The "sparkle" effect proc from this armor continues to function even with the helm hidden and in fact even if you have your helm transmogged into something different. The sparkle effect is tied to the belt in this set. (I'm unsure about other classes.)

And on that note I highly recommend Visori della Giustizia 2000 for fellow engineering paladins.

Personally, I dislike the idea to make retribution paladin looks like an angel, yet the convergence is undoubtedly happening. Look at this set, look at T16 set. I would like the design style to be silver shining armour with metallic luster, like the silver hand paladin in Warcraft III, the medieval knight style. Blizzard should save the angel theme for priest.

The MoP (Paladin) Challenge Mode transmog set is going to be no longer available with the release of the Warlords of Draenor pre-launch event patch, or slightly before then.

If you prefer a "slim boot" look consider using http://www.wowhead.com/item=93535. This "boot" is more of a shoe/slipper and gives the illusion of a slim boot effect to the armor.

I love the Insegna dei Veggenti with this set (well, to be honest, I love it so much I use it with like every set...)
Black goes with just about everything, and the gold trim matches the entire set nicely.
Spada Lunga di Fuocoincanto hides the Jade Spirit enchant that I dislike.
Lastly, I don't like the huge boots on this set (for female Blood Elves at least), so Schinieri della Meditazione del Gladiatore Malevolo reduces them to a thinner shoe look. Any Malevolent/Dreadful Paladin shoe or crafted counterpart should give the same effect, but the Malevolent shoe is slightly brighter than the Dreadful shoe.

For Alliance ~~polearm users~~, Falce Sovrana from ToC 25 fit nicely imo.

Edit: Restriction between staves and polearms only has been removed, now they can be mogged into any 2h weapon :D (Still a good match for the set though)

So I've found a great 1-handed mace that goes well with the set. Mazza Ghiacciata di Jol'grum from the quest L'Arena dell'Annientamento. Took me all of five minutes to do it. Looks great, especially with Baluardo della Guardia Reale.

As far as two-handed axes ago another great one was the Ascia Levigata from the quest Il Circolo del Sangue: la sfida finale. A flawless match.

I haven't seen this weapon linked yet, but i recently tried out Archeus Ripristinata from a quest chain in Duskwood starting with La tomba rovinata, and it looks pretty decent with Baluardo della Guardia Reale and Insegna dell'Araldo della Luce.

I found it difficult to find items that do not show jade spirit and match the set. The other two weapons that i've been using before finding the Restored Archeus are Martello del Gladiatore (but the gold is too bright) and Lama Fosforescente.

The Restored Archeus doesn't really match the colors too well except for the silver accents on the armor and the tabard, however it also has a soft blue glow on the blade which is what I like. I find it to be just the right size too (not too big of a weapon).

Since there aren't that many decent weapons for this set that hide the jade spirit enchant I thought i'd add this one to the list.

I hate shields clipping the shoulders when my pally is just resting or running around. So, I chose this particular shield as it prevents that and matches the gold/bronze color hue of the armor set as well as stands out a bit due to the spin.
The result is this

In general, I went for something flashy to match the flashy armor. IMO, if you are going to stand out, make everything stand out.

So if you're like me, you were sad to give up your perfect color-matched Gong-Lu, Forza di Xuen cloak. A really good replacement is the new Mantello delle Magie Curative. A much different design but I find all the colors match almost perfectly (the blue is a bit off).

I have not seen this weapon posted yet, and it is my favorite that I found out of all the ones I could find to look at, but I do want to say first i am red-green colorblind so I may be seeing something different than you haha. Razziatore del Nexus Etereo To me looks fantastic, and it is also very rare which I love rare things! That means it will not come easy or cheap if you buy it, but for me it was totally worth the price I got it for (15k). Hope this helps someone looking for a great weapon addition to this wonderful set, and as always goodluck and happy hunting!

I think Scudo dell'Anima Luminosa with Scettro dell'Anima Luminosa match almost perfect. And they're easy to obtain, with the savage yard lvl 3, it's a matter of time.

The WoD crafted Steelforged weapons match perfectly (especially stage 3+). Check out the Saber paired with the Aegis for example!

Granspada dell'Ammiraglio Taylor will also match very well once we're able to transmog it in 6.2.

For some reason, the graphic effects when casting (aside from the glowing on the shoulder gems) are missing for me on live right now when I have my Holy artifact weapon equipped. When the Ashbringer is equipped and casting a spell, the aura effect is working as intended.

Also, if you're a Holy Paladin with your artifact equipped as well as this set transmogged, beware the libram clipping entirely through the belt. Would much prefer the libram resting on the side of the belt instead of the front.

Looks like Blizzard made it so when you have the Holy artifact equipped with this set transmogged, the Libram will replace the buckle on the belt, so no more clipping!

If you are almost going insane because you are unable to find a matching shield, there is one in hellfire citadel from tyrant velhari: Scudo del Difensore Caduto di Argus. It comes in blue, red and fel green.

Its very exciting to run around as a paladin that didn't play during the time this was available and see other paladins with a set of armor you can never get. Time locked items are a real discouragement for me in this game. As a transmog player knowing I cannot have this transmog for my paladin discourages me from playing. Unobtainable armor sets, especially from not that long ago, should not exist. They should not put limited time obtainable items within the game to be a slap in the face to future players who didn't play during that time. I can go back and do raids literally from over a decade ago and still get transmog but this armor set I can never have because I didn't complete an in game challenge at a certain time? That's not right. It should never be armor sets.

The current Gladiator Weapon u can get by just doing PvP and filling your Conquest bar is fitting perfectly.
