For anyone that can't stand the puffed out sleeves (I sure can't, looks like pajamas as someone said), Guanti del Sonaglio make a great replacement for the gloves. It fixes the sleeves and matches the set very well. However, it does nothing to help the ridiculous helm.

Edit: Since I just got this today, the only animation that I can reliably find is that the shoulders flare up with a green light when you tiger palm. No other ability lit up the shoulders as brewmaster or windwalker. As mistweaver, only renewing mist lit up the shoulders.

This set is rather disappointing, especially the hat and shoulders. Personally, I'd rather see Monk challenge mode armor that looks like Chen Stormstout's outfit!

This set is received from earning the achievement Conquistatore delle sfide: Oro as a monk.

As I play a mistweaver monk, I found some weapons that can be used for transmog.
I use Frantumatore di Ced for the Main-Hand weapon, and Boccale di Kreeg for the OH. Here.
I was going for the "always drinking" monk look, but if I were to go windwalker I could use two of Frantumatore di Ced as transmog.

If you want a staff I suggest Bastone Focalizzato delle Ali d'Ombra because my favorite line of Zio Gao; "Yes, more corn!"

Now I only wish that we could have kegs for our backs.

For those (like me) who don't like the head, the Shado-Pan exalted reward is an excellent replacement. The Shado-Pan tabard also looks rather good on this.

Elmo della Malia Infuocata makes a great replacement helm, I personally dislike the Challenge Mode helm, and this one fits in perfectly, exactly the same colours and trim. Almost fits better than the actual helm..

The normal/flex mode version of Stivaletti Tormentati di Piede Duro are an excellent replacement for the boots on this set, if you dislike the bottomless socks as I did.

i use this set with the unique leather bulky boots and the blindfold then for weps i use 2x dragon blade. it looks so amazing on human/undead

The MoP (Monk) Challenge Mode transmog set is going to be no longer available with the release of the Warlords of Draenor pre-launch event patch, or slightly before then.

The reasoning for removal of the sets is summarized by Bashiok on the WoW forums:

The short of it is, Challenge Mode is based on it being a challenge with current mechanics and, lots of mechanics will be changing in the pre-expansion patch.

Guys, guys! All of you wonderful people that have gone back to the TBC raids to find matching helmets and weapons, you are missing the point! Given that Monk's were the new thing in Mists of Pandaria, I figured I wouldn't have to go that far to find the perfect set, and I have found what I feel are the missing pieces:
HEAD: Elmetto degli Shandaren - Replica

TABARD: Insegna degli Shandaren

WEAPON: Bastone della Danza della Gru

All good in a very "Mists" fashion. I hope you all like my variation of the transmog. I'm sure the weapon could be changed to any of the weapons we were given by Maestro Pugno Alto, Bastone della Danza della Gru was just the one I happened to have saved in my bank.

Very disappointing how this set has almost no special effects to it.

My Shaman friend's CM shoulders light up with EVERY cast he does... yet a Monk's maybe have 2-3 abilities that do it. As a Mistweaver its only as casting Enveloping Mist, and wow am I disappointed.
