~~Note 1: A set of duplicate boots can be found on Rattlegore in Scholo, if you don't feel like farming Skeram. I wouldn't blame you for it; he's a bloody tough solo.~~ See the comment below, Rattlegore's drop table has been redone with the redevelopment of Scholo for Pandaria.

Note 2: This set is from all over the place; some pieces drop in Scholo and Strath, while others from Outland group and dungeon quests. The belt doesn't even seem to be available anymore. Farming this will require a lot of thought in advance, or skipping of Outland dungeons until you can solo them later. And then there's the whole Kirin'var string in the Netherstorm...

Any advice for weapons?
I found Minotauro from ZF and Vendicatore di Malaforgia from Thaurissan but a bit too small and Bryntroll is too shining.

This set uses the dark maroon-blue (officially "Dark") version of the "D6 Plate" artwork. It forms six pieces of a seven-piece set of the art.

Bracers using the same colour of the art aren't available. But since they'd be hidden anyway it's probably not a big deal.

There actually isn't any set artwork for a helm, so there's no loss that one isn't included here. Just pick whatever you think fits best.

Note that the original belt, Cinturone di Ghiaccio Eterno, is out of game, which made this set impossible to complete for anyone who hadn't saved theirs prior to Cataclysm. With the introduction of the Timewalking version of Azuregos, and the new Cinturone di Ghiaccio Eterno that he may drop, the set is once more attainable.

There are five other colours of this set in the artwork database and all have at least a few pieces in the game. Some of the pieces are quest related and may no longer be available to you. See:

Silver-black (officially "Black"): Deathbone Guardian (Recolor) (shoulders missing)
Icy blue (officially "Frost"): Icebane Plate (only chest and belt still available)
Blue-yellow (officially "Sky"): Deathbone Guardian (Recolor) (chest, bracers and belt missing)
Blue-red (officially "Blue"): Zandalari Vindicator Plate (missing matching shoulders) added in patch 5.2, also two older belts: Cinturone a Piastre Svuotato & Cinturone a Piastre Infuso
Green-yellow (officially "Green"): no transmog page, see this link for appearance and pieces (only shoulders, chest, bracers & gloves)

Finally, there's at least a chestpiece of a black-and-red set that uses the "Blood Knight D3" artwork, which is pretty much the same style as this D6: Protettore dell'Esarca.

Gorgiera del Draco di Ferro doesn't look particularly bad with this set. If you are into such kind of things.

If you need a weapon that fits this set perfectly, I would recommend Martellaccio dell'Autorità Qiraji. May not be the best looking weapon on its own, but it certainly looks really nice all-together.

If you're using this set for a Death Knight then I'd recommend that you go and purchase the green starter gear for Death Knights, seeing as the belt's invisible and thus your mog won't be ruined by a piece that doesn't belong to the transmog.

if you want a polearm with a nice look Falce del Cacciatore di Streghe is a perfect match for this set :) but can be expensive on AH.

Granspada delle Visioni Infelici was MADE for this set, but unfortunately frost DKs are one-hand only now.

Anyone have good one-handers to go with this? I don't want to use Hailstorm or Frostguard with EVERY set, I need something new!
