After 4.3, items that share the same model as this one had their color changed to (ugly) brown: Brilliant Saronite Pauldrons (blue), Life-Light Pauldrons (blue), Brazen Offender's Shoulderplates (green), Chilled Pauldrons (blue), Crystalplate Pauldrons (green), etc. Already reported at the Official Bug forums.

This set uses the Blue variant of the "Northrend B2 Plate" artwork and forms a complete eight-piece set of the art.

For completion there's one extra set of bracers that were left off the list: Bracciali di Cobalto. Not that they'd be visible anyway.

There are three other colour variants of this set in the artwork database and all are available in the game as complete sets. See:

Sinking Pauldrons are the same skin and as of 5.0.4 have the correct colour.

It should be noted that as of patch 5.0.4, the shoulders actually match the overall color scheme of the rest of the armor. Random time to change it, but I for one am glad!

Crafting the seven Cobalt pieces here requires 33 Lingotto di Cobalto total.

As plain as it is, I'm actually a big fan of this set! Its good for a DK if you want a humbler outfit or are just tired of armor plated with skulls. In addition, Grandascia della Spada d'Ebano and Manto del Vento del Nord complete the look very well, especially if you inscribe the axe with razorice.

With all that being said though, I think I'll keep the "show helmet" option off. The helmet is kind of bleh.

Azure Silk Cloak actually looks pretty good with this set. Although harder to find an Alliance tailor with the pattern (unless they got it through neutral auction house, or switched factions).

Polsiere da Sentinella di Dalaran are definitely part of this set as well. Not that it matters, since the gloves cover them up completely...

I found the weapon Shaarde la Magnifica With Colosso Looks great with this set, and with the cloak Drappo di Seta di Ragno.
Undead screenshot shows both.

I don't know why Brilliant Saronite Bracers arent on the list, but they match and the recipe can still be learned from an blacksmith trainer.

SHOULDER: for something a little less bulky, perhaps the Pauldrons of Trembling Rage may be more your style. They can be purchased from the legacy JP vendor in Dalaran.

Note that there are two styles of gloves. The Cobalt Gauntlets provide a slim look, while the Brilliant Saronite Gauntlets have the thick look that matches the boots.

Edit: the quest rewards seem to have the thick look that the Brilliant Saronite Gauntlets have.
