Spalletti dell'Assassino Notturno is also an option. These are slightly lighter shade than the black of Bandit Garb, but they look decent nonetheless.

Here's a few other ideas:

Spalline del Braccatore della Foresta - the colour is a little off, but the model suits this set very well. It's worth checking the "same model as" tab to find something more suitable.
Paraspalle degli Sferzalama if you want some spikes on your shoulders.
Spallacci di Bragonero - the colour is close, but I don't like the model much.

Also, if you're looking in the AH all the time and having no luck (like me), a good strategy is to go out to the nearby lowbie zones and kill rares. Not perfect, and your stuff may not drop, but the rares have spawn timers which are all less than two hours, so you could come back and kill them several times a day, which increases the chance of your item dropping.

i have the dark arctic chest and legs for this, i think they go perfectly together with the gloves and boots. but a shoulder piece i'm having issues with. i have rocktusk ones on now, its the best i've found so far, but the color is slightly off

I was actually referred to this set by http://www.worldofwardrobes.net/2011/09/bandits-leather-set/, and in the set they post there, the female version has cute little shorts, but when I look here (which I assume is more accurate), they're the same as the male pants.

Basically what I'm asking is, does anyone know where I can get some cute little leather booty shorts?

The shoulders I currently wear with the full Bandit set are the Spalletti di Pelle di Drago Tesa. These shoulders drop off Cromaggus in Fortezza dell'Ala Nera. Now to find a cloak to match.

For those of you who may find you have Pantaloni di Smith lying around in your bank or on a toon, it would fit in with this set. It is no longer available in game.

I had no idea this was a transmog set! On my lowbie rogue, back before Cata, I collected various pieces (or lookalikes) from rare spawns and quests, then put them together cause I liked the simplicity. Still love it, though. Something I could actually wear in real life.

Monnion of the Bat works well as a shoulder with this set, especially if you want a single-shoulder thing going on. I also put a White Swashbuckler Shirt underneath.

For some reason, the picture shown of the mog on the human female and that shown in the 3D view for the female are different for the legs. It now shows the trousers as extremely short shorts. Not sure if its a WoWHead display issue or if this has actually changed in WoD.

I got the same results with Firefox and Internet Explorer.

I am a big fan of this simple set. I farmed it in advanced before the launch of MoP so my Pandaren monk could transmog it while leveling to level 90. Getting fitting shoulder and head pieces was harder. I wanted it to look simple yet asien themed. I finally settled with this combination:

I picked up Spallacci Foderati della Spira Insolente while leveling in Azeroth and added Elmo della Foglia Silente later in Pandaria as the colors and art style of both pieces are the same while giving the Bandit Garb a color for contrast.

Since i was playing a monk i got Bastone Tagliente della Montagna Congelata from a class quest. I found it fitting as it was simple yet asien styled. A staff like Bastone dell'Iniziato would go, too.

Not sure why, but when I equipped the bandit pants, they were +4/+4 stats and were full pants like shown in the male human dropdown box up there. Even though my character is female, i didn't get the ones shown in the female dropdown. In fact, my wowhead profiler shows the 'correct' shorts: http://www.wowhead.com/list=6186241/us-bleeding-hollow-nallah but in-game , it's the long pants.

Clearly Warcraft' version of Tifa Lockheart' outfit. Switch the hands and feet for some that are rust-colored shaded leather. Tifa's shoes are not boots but just simple shoes, so pick something that just covers the feet. I can't say that you'd find a better chest piece that shows tummy though.
