This set uses the Red variant of the "Zul'Aman Mail" artwork and forms a complete eight-piece set of the art (the helm was missing until 5.2, when the "Brittle Flameweaver" set was added).

For the legs, Gambali dello Zombi Errante are pants while the rest of the leggings are kilts, so you have two options for appearance.

There are three other colours of this set in the artwork database, but only the Purple exists in the game as a complete set. See:

Purple: Amani Mail
Green: Amani Mail (Recolor) (just chest, wrists, gloves, legs)
Yellow: Amani Mail (Recolor) (just chest, gloves, legs)

Getting the lvl70 version of this mog set (IE everything but the helmet) will cost 2418jp.
Also note that despite being listed as alternatives the two shoulders are completely different models.

my pole are that i use is Village Scythe with mongoose. Mongoose adds that blue fire or gassly affect to it. for my bow i use Big Bendy Blasting Bow, together i think they make a perfect weapon and bow for a hunter. i tell u my cape but....its patch day on wow D: 8 hr repair

I have finaly got my last piece of gear for this set...it may of taken me about 20 times but..it was worth it. you can only do about 1 a day or about every 20 hrs for dungeon cool down.

So, I was browsing through the transmog sets for something for my new Shaman (I like pre planning transmog sets,it was hell trying to find one for my hunter) But it didn't go so well,I really suck at set hunting, but then i saw Great Hexer Ohodo strolling around dalaran and quickly looked him up to see if i could obtain the set he was wearing,and my spirits rose as i found this page.
But it quickly sank as i saw the helm was no longer in game :(
Can anyone think of any good replacement helms to use for transmog? The set just doesn't feel complete without one,preferably something that would suit a troll shaman,that still fits in with the color scheme for this set.

Cheer up, with patch 5.2 this set can be completed again, as there will be numerous green armor pieces added to the game that have the original appearance of the Zul'Aman and Zul'Gurub gear. The version of this set intruduced by 5.2 is called "Brittle Flamereaver" and will be obtainable by yet unknown means.

Arco Vudù Incordato is perfect if you were unable to get the original version of this amazing bow.Cintura Cucita di Skom is also a good fit.

While this set was originally introduced in The Burning Crusade, it did not suffer the same fate as other armor art that was lost when ZA was revamped in Cataclysm.

This is because most of the set was available from G'eras for Justice Points, or reused in the new ZA. The only thing players missed out on was a helm.

In 5.2, the full was reprised as ilvl 429 Brittle Flameweaver gear that dropped from Isola del Tuono and Isle of Giants.

For anyone getting this transmog for an enhance shammy, I suggest Ascia Planare Nera Perfezionata. Matches the colors nicely and its a cool looking weapon. Sadly it is rather expensive to buy.

This set looks amazing on a male tauren, due to their sheer size and wide shoulders. I decided against the leggings though... partly because I just didn't like the look of them, and partly because I am not secure enough in my masculinity to wear a skirt.

I spent a lot of time trying to find the "right" cape for this set, before eventually just deciding on making my cape invisible. Carrying the bow on your back, I think it looks best this way.

I have yet to see anybody else sporting a transmog of any version of this on my server, not even so much as the helm or spaulders used in a custom transmog. I find that strange, I think it is an amazing set.

The plate set is really cool-looking too, but for some reason nobody was interested in the pieces I found and listed in the AH... the listing costs are so hefty, I eventually just vendored them. I'll regret this if I ever level up a plate-wearing alt...

If you want the perfect shirt for wearing under this set, is it. It has matching closely-spaced vertical lines, and the color really beings out the bones. Plus it gives you a vanity buff that reads to players in-game as "Conqueror of the South Seas," which is pretty cool. And it is an Epic shirt.

You get it for defeating Razorgrin at the Brawler's Guild (Quest Link). To fight Razorgrin, you first must find which can be found by fishing in any fishing pools in Pandaria, and gives this quest. It is hinted in-game that the oversized "Fish of the Day" pools have a higher drop rate for the Tooth (the same pools that summon Krakkanon when fished dry and contain 85-100 fish), I found mine in one and I have read other comments saying the same. You take the card into your faction's Brawler's Guild and give it to Card Trader Ami (H) or Leila (A) to complete the quest, then buy a to fight Razorgrin for 3G from her. Walk up to someone from the Brawler's Guild and talk to them, tell them you want to use your Challenge Card. You will be teleported into the fight (be ready) and if you die, you have to buy another card to try again.

This is relatively easy to get for a level 90 hunter (or any pet class) that is still in the process of gearing up, you might need to buy a flask to boost your DPS, if you have no experience with the Brawler's Guild you might die a couple times... I died twice before realizing there was a timer on the fights. On my hunter (who has a modified Amani Mail & Amani Mail (Recolor) transmog), my gear ilvl is under 500, my weapon is so embarassing that I won't even name it, and I had no Brawler's Guild experience, and this was still an easy fight once I realized I just had to deal as much damage as possible in the shortest amount of time. I drank a flask and used a Spirit Beast specced for Ferocity, adjusted my rotation to exclude everything but Heal Pet and my attacks that had the highest DPS, and it was easy to beat Razorgrin with time to spare.

I am a noob and don't know what other classes wear mail, but while this fight is easy for ranged DPS classes, it is extremely difficult for melee. All Razorgrin can do is flop around and bite you, but his bites do insane damage. Avoiding his mouth is the only way to make it through the fight.

How come the legs in the picture have the red trim on the bottom but none of the linked kilts/leggings have it?

Does anybody know? I really prefer the legs that were displayed in the picture/3D preview to the other ones.

I find that Fusciacca del Garmaglio goes very well with this set for a belt. It looks better the smaller the race as the scales match almost perfectly on Goblins but look every so slightly out of place when on a Human or Worgen (using in-game tests).

I forked out 2k on the shoulders on the AH before realizing G'eras in Shattrath practically hands out every piece but the helm and the belt for a minimal fee of Justice Points.

If you're looking for a good staff that goes with this set, try Twisted Visage. Haven't seen it linked here yet, has the right coloring and style and is fairly easy to obtain nowadays.

For cloak, I went with Drape of Frozen Dreams (Heroic version), (new on WoD), which complements the trousers amazingly well as it has the same shade of blue-grey.

In regards to the boe Brittle Flamereaver gear, obtaining pieces through grinding enemies is rather taxing and very slow. If you have the funds, however meager they might be, head to a realm where the pieces are being sold for cheap on the AH. On Moonguard, the most expensive pieces are being sold for only 2k to 3.5k gold, the minimum being 200 to 400 gold. Save yourself the trouble and find a realm where they're being sold for less.
