Title gained from the Archaeology profession for completing the I had it in My Hand achievement by digging up a rare artifact. Pretty neat!

This title is not a reference to any movie or music or anything. It's an exact replica to how professorship works in academia.

In most Academic Research Universities an Associate Professor is a Professor who has earned Tenure, but has not earned full professorship. This title in the game is for a rare dig or a "middle" dig, much like how an associate professor is the "middle" rank in academia.

Academic Positions
Assistant Professor- You are new, you have not proven yourself yet.
Associate Professor - You've proven you can do novel research, but do not have the experience for full professorship. You get tenure.
Professor - You do novel research, have tenure and basically do whatever you want. Chances are good professors at this level don't actually do the research but manage their army of graduate students. (Much like my PhD. Advisor did.)

For those curious what tenure is. Tenure means they cannot fire you simply because they do not like the work you do. This is a system that allows people in academic research to research things that are not popular. This doesn't apply to things that are unethical (IE, You want to study what happens if you give kids AIDs.) More information here.

The three professor titles come from Archaeology achievements, and those achievements are named: (1) "I Had it in My Hand", (2) "What was Briefly Yours is Now Mine", and (3) "It Belongs in a Museum!". If you sincerely believe these are *not* nods to "Raiders of the Lost Ark", you are flat-out kidding yourself.
