Anyone considering attaining this title my find it easier if you use a couple of addons.....Everyquest, which gives a full list of all quests and the location of its starter or Zygor guides, the newest version of which actually has a Loremaster tab allowing you to select an area, the guide will then fill in any quests you have already completed and move on to the next step.

I got this back before Cataclysm was released and hindsight says it was so much better than now. You actually had to do quests everywhere and not skip anything because the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor achievements weren't zone by zone, but continent wide. You had to hunt down the most obscure quests and it gave you a real appreciation for the world and exploration. Now you can skip this and that and its just not as involving. Sure you get story lines, but your "discovery & exploration" is crippled by the hand holding...it leaves you feeling empty.

Edit: Perhaps I should clarify. The problem with the current loremaster with the revamp is that almost every zone is just one big chain per zone. Sure there are quite a few zones and that takes effort, but that's about as much time as prior to cata. But a Loremaster doesn't just learn lore starting at A and ending at Z. A loremaster hunts down little obscure details. If everything is handed to you on a silver platter, sure you can eat it, but where's the satisfaction? To search out the little nuts and berries and experience them hidden away is truly rewarding.

This title can be obtained at the moment by anything level 84+. I got it on my Hunter before hitting 85, as she was at first going to be an 84 twink. It makes me wonder if the same thing can happen in Mists of Pandaria at 89!

I was able to complete this using just the quest list on my character page on this website and a lot of alt-tabbing. There are a few zones that leave you hunting for that one last quest seed, and there's others where you're finished in the middle of a chain. Having done the bulk of the achievement post-Cataclysm, I can say there's a LOT of deja vu. A lot of the old world quests were either tweaked just enough that they're now "new", or you lost credit for having completed them before. At level 85, you can easily complete an entire zone in just a few hours, with the exception of Northrend.

If you are going to do this achievement I'd recommend downloading the Loremaster addon, available here: http://www.curse.com/addons/wow/loremasteraddon - to sum up it plots markers on your map to show you where the quests are that you haven't completed.

If you install Lightheaded and TomTom as in the setup instructions on Curse you will be able to have waypoints set to the quests, a log that will tell you which quests you have and haven't done, which lead onto quest lines etc. As well as that you will get an expandable part to your quest log which will let you view comments from wowhead in game to save you alt-tabbing for anything you are having trouble with!

I had been using EveryQuest prior to using this addon, but experienced a lot of issues with it (probably due to it being so outdated). Loremaster works with 4.3 though and I can't recommend it enough for this achievement!

im just halfway of this in pre panda, but full respect to the people who done it before cataclysm : when u couldnt fly over azeroth but use ur ground mount, and there was no built in questhelper, and quests weren't dumbed down.

I'm working on this at the moment. In multiple areas i had the problem that i needed just a few more quests or didnt knew where to start. When i looked on wowhead every time for the remaining quests i thought to myself there must be a better way to do this. I'm sure more of you think this. I found the solution:

There is a great add-on called "QuestHubber" (here is a link to Curse) that shows you what quests you haven't done yet. Really helped me a LOT so wanted to share it with you all.

For anyone needing help with quests for any of the Loremaster Achievements, like in Outland (or like I like to think of it, Hell-land cause the quest lines are terrible) you need to help yourself and download Loremaster from Curse Client! I was having such a horrible time questing in Outland as a 90 to get the achievement and it was just because I couldn't find quests! Even with my low level tracking on... I was a bout to give up. But I downloaded Loremaster and I all of a sudden had TONS of quests I couldn't find before! Either I'm an idiot or this thing is GENIUS! lol Anyway I tried it out with a couple quests to make sure it was legit and it is! I hope this helps a lot of you out there with the same problems. Happy questing now! :D

For someone like me, with a short attention span equal to a child's, getting this title is near impossible, as most quests in my opinion aren't exactly entertaining or lore-filled, so it's a bit boring for me. I still don't have the darn title, and it's taken all my willpower alone to just get the Eastern Kingdoms Loremaster achievement...

I clearly have a long way to go.

Questing, for me at least is one of the most boring things to do. I was close to getting Loremaster before the Cata revamp and finally just earned it yesterday.

Aside from using the wonderful tool that is wowhead for all the tips on quests that people have left here on the site I wouldn't have been able to get through this without Netflix. Chuck, Buffy, Chinese Import movies, River Monsters, and many others made the experience much more enjoyable.

Im on lets half-way to get this achievement,its quite boring,but if you are bored too,use some background morale boost music,it helps alot ;)
One more thing,not all zones have their Scenario-like end,but its god to immense into quests and actually read all of them,there are plenty of fun quests and stuff.
For now doing good ;)

Does this have to be done all on one character? Because I'm getting the achievements as shared (or at least showing as complete on ones who haven't done them).

As someone who has done all Eastern Kingdom quests in vanilla I am sad that I need to repeat half the zones because some ''flag'' didn't work in TBC when achievements were introduced

Somebody told me recently this is an uncommon title to have. is it? Or are players not fond of the requirements it since the changes made to it post-Cata?
