Yes, this quest will make you poke your eyes out. The Tough Condor Meat drop rate seems *rediculously* low.. I've killed about 20-25 and still have not gotten one. >.<

The lone condor next to the Knoll camp (24,36) dropped all of the meat for me, the others didn't drop a single one! Still took a long freaking time to gather them all, maybe 1 in 15 kills dropped the meat. Can anyone confirm if this particular condor has a higher drop rate?

I did the quest in at the Arther Mill (52,44) all the mobs you need are there.

I got the spider and condor meat at Arther Mill and the Great Goretusk Snouts arround 33,65.

Bring patience. Most of the animals have already had all the meat taken out of their bodies by other adventurers, and I counted a total of 88 kills before all ingredients were gathered.

Perhaps this has changed since the 2.3 patch... as I do remember this drop rate being very poor prior to that.

I went up to Alther's Mill, north east of Lakeshire, around 50,42. I had 5 Tough Condor Meat drop in 6 kills... very quick drop rate up there... as opposed to south of Lakeshire where not a single meat dropped.

53,40 is a great place to get this done and if you dont know were that is just go to Althers Mill or whatever but I garentee you will die ALOT and it will take FOREVER but I die so much because im a walock named Axela on Hydrxis and she only wears cloth

60, 76 for very fast dropping Tough Condor Meat. Got 5 quickly. For me, Alther's Mill didn't drop one.

It doesn't matter where you go or what you do. The drop rate is still randomly generated throughout all the mobs. And said drop rate is still amazingly low.

Bring a book. This one takes a while.

I looked on this site for info on where to find the Condors. I went towards the mill and got all five pieces of condor meat in only 7 kills. I killed the ones on the left side of the road leading down to the mill and 2 more down by the mill. All this on Sept 16, 2008 so it's fairly current info.

Drop rate seems to be quite low for all the items. I'm getting a drop rate of about 30%

The drop rate was great for me. I only had to kill about 8 of them. There was a nice group of them in the valley below that castle. But they were just as many of those pesky, fireball throwing dragonkin:P.

The drop rate is fine, so don't complain about it. Either they changed it during the recent patch or it's just some people aren't patient. It took me less than 15 minutes to finish all 3 parts of the quest. Seems easy enough to solo as a level 19 as long as you avoid the whelps.

While the drop rate on this quest does seem kind of low, the good news is that all of the items you need for the quest are not classified as quest items so if your in a hurry to finish up this quest you can either buy them off the AH or farm them quickly on a high lvl toon and mail them to your alt.

If you do plan on farming them items on your low lvl toon it should be noted that the mobs at althers mill are around lvl 19 and 20 while the mobs on the redridge highway are 15-16 so if your still a little low on levels i would suggest sticking to southern redridge to complete this quest.

I had the easiest time finding a lot of Dire Condors along the Lakeridge Highway (path in the south) just to the south of the Murlocs. There seem to be about 50/50 whelplings and dire condors there.

I got the condor meat before I even got the quest. The goretusk snouts were annoying to get and I've been killing everyspider I see and I STILL haven't gotten it.

Here, I hope this helps, no one has posted it and it doesn't show under the animal's names when you click on them. You can get the condor meat from the highway to stonewatch and stuff from the Dire Condors. You get the Snouts from the boars that are freaking everywhere. You get the spider meat from the tarantulas toward the beginning of Redridge mountains. Hope this helps. ^-^

If you want to find Goretuscks go on the road just south of Blackrock Pass. Goretusks spawn here about every one minute. I am not kidding. By the time you've killed one another has popped up. I had stacks of them all around me. They spawned way faster than their corpses disappeared. The drop rate is still lousy, though.

Nothing would please me more than to make you some Redridge Goulash. But there's a slight problem. During the recent orc uprising I fed the entire brigade of Stormwind troops. My cupboard is now bare. But if you can provide me with the ingredients, I'd be happy to oblige.

Just bring me five pieces of Tough Condor Meat, five Great Goretusk Snouts and five helpings of Crisp Spider Meat.
