Don't know if this bug has been fixed, but in mid 2006, this happened to me: When turning in the required 3 plate chests, if you are wearing the Imperial Plate with an enchant on it, make sure to leave it in the bank. Upon quest completion, I was left with a naked torso and an extra piece in my pack. Fortunately, I only lost a rugged leather armor patch!

Good writ as it requires only 60 Thorium Bars (60-120G), but the Imperial Plate Chests are most of the time easy to get on AH because Blacksmithers use them to level their blacksmithing skill so you should be able (on my realm) to do this writ only spending about 10G.

PS @ Ironhands: This 'bug' still exists.

This is one of the random quests given by Dispatch Commander Metz in exchange for a Argent Dawn Valor Token. The awards are used to buy items from the Argent Dawn; but they require a high number of the insignias.

Now that the Burning Crusade Expansion is out most people will skip these quests. It is recommended by most to skip it unless there is an item you want from an Argent Dawn vendor that requires the award(s).
