That is because the quests Narain gives are part from the AQ questline.
noone will be able to get it if they do not have the head of broodlord for the quest Only one May Rise. and done the following quests on the chain.

Once the gates have been opened, it is still possible to get the Broodlord's head. It drops every kill and is a quest item lootable by anyone with the quest Only One May Rise. You'll have to find a BWL run though, and it'd be smart to check before hand that you'll be allowed to roll on the head if the run is not in-guild.

Yea I'm trying to figure that out myself. I never raided Pre BC so I didn't get a chance to do this. I'd like to add the recipe to my cookbook.

No, you won't have to do the entire AQ quest line. But you will still have quite a bit of work to do. Basically, this is part of the blue shard quest line, so you can completely ignore the red and green shard quest lines.

there is somone in my server who is selling this recipe on the AH at 25,000g to start, and buyout 50,000g. i told him that no will buy it for that price, because it isn't worth that much. i told him it is worth no more than 40g to 50g. when i saw it sells by a vendor at 12s 50c. my price is still to high. it is most likely worth 15 to 20g on the AH. if you think i'm wrong about the price just tell me.

This quest was quite a slap in the face for me. Having just failed the Winterveil Gourmet because I had farmed Bloodsail Rep, I didn't expect to find any other obstacles from those goblins till I was going to do the Loremaster achievement.

Well, I was wrong. Seems like I'll have to start getting my reputation up earlier than expected

Bloodsail Admirals will have to repair their Gadgetzan reputation to do this quest.

Thought I'd point that out since I've been wondering and am at this point myself and can verify. Goblin-friendly players only. Time to repair the rep!

Just FYI if you've toasted your rep, the engineer mind control wont let you interact with Dirge to continue the scepter quest line. Tried it tonight (6 Nov 2010) and no go.
